I haven't worked with the Typergy Form gimmick enough. So I thought I'd make another one for a Pokemon that sorely needs a new thing.

As for the ability, think Infestation but permanent until the Pokemon gets knocked out. And since Typergy forms are pure-type, the quad weakness to Rock Ledian usually worries about is knocked down to just a regular weakness. Scary!

Ledian would get a flying-type TF too, but you'd see me dead before drawing any more feathers.

One thing I'd like to do for Typergy Forms is to give a Typergy Form for each Eeveelution.

I do have some ideas (imagine Vaporeon with a Triton trident tail!), but one thing I'm curious about is Umbreon. Typergy forms are built on representing the types each Pokemon have in its purest form. Umbreon is a pretty unique case for the Dark type, however. Many dark types are based around malice or cruelty or otherwise moral ambiguity, but some aren't based around that at all - and Umbreon is one of these. Umbreon is more based on the night and the moon than it is dark-type mean-ness. So really, Dark types could represent a lot of 'darkness' elements and Umbreon is perhaps the best example.

So I made two potential designs for Typergy Forms for Umbreon. Left being based on Umbreon's nighttime moon motif, the other being based on EEEEVIIIIIIIL.

Which one do you think works best?

That’s a hell of a prediction. I sincerely hope ZA, Prime 4, Kart 9 and Xenoblade X all get released in launch month. Nintendo really needs to have a home run right out of the gate with Switch 2. The hardware isn’t astoundingly different than Switch 1 and so the launch games or launch window lineup needs to be stellar.

I think Mario kart is a lock for sure. 8 did numbers on the switch and it was mainly because being a launch title, bundled with everything and just being Mario kart, really pushed it into the market.

So I think it’s a sure fire move to just do it again.

As for Xenoblade, I think that’s potentially a launch title since it is a port. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s pushed till summer though.

Prime 4 I can’t see being anything but the holiday title. It’s been anticipated for years, trailer got a lot of views and excitement, dread sold well and made the brand more main stream. I think nintendo believes Metroid could be a big hitter and do well for the holiday season. A bold move, but I think it’s pays off for them.

ZA like I said probably falls at launch or close to it, unless they make that the holiday title. But I think prime 4 needs more of a longer marketing time frame than Pokemon does, so I’m sticking to ZA coming first.

If Jirachi came to me...and let me know I could make one permanent wish to change something about the Pokemon franchise...my wish would be to swap Chikorita and Bulbasaur's starting regions.

The awesome flower sauropod gets mocked so much for having such a hard time in Johto while Bulbasaur is incredibly beloved (though a lot of that is gen I privilege). If things were switched up, though, perhaps my boy would get more appreciation.

Though at this point I'm desperate for ANYTHING that makes life as a Meganium stan easier.

Consider the following: regional forms for Mimikyu where it creates imitation rags of non-Pikachu Pokemon.

Imagine what a Mimikyu in a Charizard costume would look like. It'd be so cool. It makes sense since Charizard is up there with Pikachu in terms of popularity so it still fits Mimikyu's search for appreciation through imitation, AND it could be another rep for the Ghost/Fire type that GF is so obsessed with lately.

I’ve been playing a lot of tcg pocket while battling the flu last week. So far it’s fun.

The first deck I built was Golem, then it became Aerodactyl EX + Fighting, now I mostly just run a Fighting tech deck.

I’m one GA Weezing away from finishing the Weezing-Arbok-Tauros antimeta deck I’ve been trying to build, but luck hasn’t been on my side. Same with Pidgeot EX where I pulled almost every card from MI except Pidgeot.
