Both are great but way longer, especially brothership. I’ve had the game since day one and played about 2 hours almost every day and I still am nowhere near done with the game. I only just got to the third sea. It’s a huge game but really fun and worth playing for sure.

Lol it’s a game I have to finish myself, it I didn’t think it was crazy long. I also was getting my ass kicked a lot and got pre occupied by other games so I haven’t gotten to finish it yet.

They just spent 2-3 extra years working on the game if I had to guess. Because why do the booster course pass so late into the switch unless they already had these characters ready to go for something else?


I’d be pretty surprised if the entire roster from 8 deluxe isn’t back, especially with how much bigger the race capacity is

not the entire cast though right? We don't need Tanooki Mario and Pink Gold Peach

I think the timeline of events has gotten mixed up in regards to DK.

DK's redesign was likely planned really far in advance for the new generation, so MK9 DK isn't "based off the movie" as much as it is just the movie being the first piece of media to use this new design.

I actually miss Cataquacks as an enemy in the Mario series.

They made a few appearances after the original version of Sunshine, but not counting it's port in 3D All Stars, they just kinda disappeared after the Wii era for some reason.

I'm only gonna shill for Diddy, Dixie, Cranky, Funky, and K. Rool. Even if that means they're all gonna get ugly redesigns that make them look more like Mario/Nintendo characters than Rare characters.

Won't know what they'll look like till they show up. Don't ask me why, but I feel like Diddy (and I guess Dixie) won't look TOO different. K.Rool, since he's always wearing different fits, I could see him looking new and weird.

I might continue my plans to keep my Switch 1 for modding now that we know about backwards compatibility but how well Nintendo handles it will be a consideration.

I think they mentioned the "ALMOST every game will work" thing.

1. Sony did that with PS4 on PS5 as a precaution, likely the same thing for Nintendo I imagine.

2. I think Labo, and maybe Ring Fit or any peripheral game might not carry-over the same, but that's me guessing, ngl.

It’s going to be the entire cast, random clones included. I know people hate them, but they are kind of necessary inclusions because they have different weight properties and expand the categories for heavier or lighter characters that the game would lack otherwise. So I never really hated the clones even if the concepts are weird.

I'm not terribly interested in Goomba or Monty Mole, partly because they're generic enemies but mostly because they wouldn't have interesting profiles when driving a kart.

Like, you'd just be looking at a brown lump for the majority of a race.

That being said, if I had to choose, I'd pick the funnier brown lump with no arms.

After talking to that transfem group I joined about video games (including Smash Bros) I'm wanting to go to that movie night I mentioned a lot more. Although I'll probably spend the whole time playing video games instead of actually watching the movies.

That said. I am slightly bitter that the hostess is an autistic trans lesbian who is my age and can still somehow afford a house and the ability to throw parties for 20+ people (I'm not actually that bitter but still, jeeze).

I'm so ****ing relieved. I just wish it happened sooner.

I just hope the Government falls apart after this, most people don't realize it but there's no real ideology behind the Palestinian genocide lasting this long on Netanyahu's part, he just doesn't care that people are losing their lives as long as he gets to stay in power and evade the corruption charges. This is not to downplay the gravity of the situation, I think if anything that just makes it worse.

I hope this country can be normal after this and that we can finally get a decent government that actually cares about people (that's a big ask)

Can't really Blame them considering Nintendo is notably trying to forget about King K. Rool and the Kremlings.

Universal even wanted to use them for the theme park for DK's section but they said no.

Makes me worry they won't be the antagonists for the DK spin-off movie...

Highly unlikely. The switch 2 size (both length and width) are different and so it probably wont fit in the Switch 1 dock. But also, the Switch 2 will come with a dock

That's mostly why I started getting braids but braids are expensive so I slow down on that too but now I'm stuck looking the way I look

As someone with body issues too, my rare moments of mental clarity have let me in on a secret: I look fine, and so do you.

That’s not to say I’m this gorgeous, flawless hunk of a man. There’s plenty I could improve. But I look alright. I’m average, not ugly. There’s people out there who look way worse than me, but also feel way better about themselves. The same applies to you. At the end of the day it’s really about how you view yourself.

Once again, it’s totally valid that there are things you don’t like about your appearance and you could try and change them if you wanted. But you aren’t ugly.
