Sonic 1 holds up pretty well imo. Definitely the weakest of the classic games but still a good time.

I don't even mind Marble Zone and Labyrinth Zone but I've also played Sonic 1 like a gazillion times at this point so I know both levels like the back of my hand.

Sonic 1's fine. It's great in some areas, rough in the others.

Imo the worst of the classic 4 is Sonic CD, which is highkey carried by the soundtrack and Metal Sonic.

Started Battle Network 2 a couple days ago. Now I got Quickman defeated and I have to get the A License. I'm liking the quality of life changes in this one for the most part. But I'll miss my Mega Buster being cracked out as it was in MMBN1. Still real early in the game. So getting the right chip load out instead of scrounging up something half decent is still a ways away. But its cool.

I know I’ve said this before but I think I want a new Punch Time Explosion instead of another “all of WB” platform fighter. It feels like that’s a more solid (and more limited) base to draw from that will create a better experience. Especially since so many of the big requests were CN characters anyway.

All of WB is a cool idea and I’d love to see them try it again in the future. But definitely not right now. Gotta let the idea sit a bit.

It is. But in a way I kinda feels like this makes it better for the project. Now that Cartoon Network has an end we can create a roster that fully represents it without ever getting outdated.

I'd probably want to see a DC(and by extension Marvel) do a platform fighter. They've done quite a few traditional fighting games over the years, let alone a couple of arena fighters like Rise of the Imperfects. So I don't think it would be too out there.

We already had like 8 DC characters in MS(Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Joker, Harley, Raven, Black Adam and Nubia), but I'd imagine some more heavy hitters like Flash, Green Lantern Bane, Cyborg, Grodd, Starfire, Poison Ivy, Robin and Aquaman since they either cover a niche or are well known enough to be playable. I'd also push for Blue Beetle.

Doubt it'd be Victini tbh, probably Keldeo or Kubfuu. I have a feeling that they want these rewards to be useable in the currently newest game. Which is probably why if they give a reward for LGPE it'd probably be a shiny Mew imo.


But regardless, yeah I ain't doint Galar I need like 150~ Pokemon for just the base dex, not counting the 2 DLC dexes.

A Marvel one is easier to imagine, IMO. like 7 or 8 Spider-Man characters. 7 or 8 X-Men characters and 7 or 8 Avengers. That's about Melee's roster size and you'd get most of the ones people care about. If it was closer to Brawl's size, obviously you could just take the FF and Dr.Doom before getting into the crazier stuff. But I guess each MVC and MUA game set a bit of space aside for a C-Lister at the time.

Is the channel actually at risk of shutting down or does that have more to do with how they might be taking the recent Disney and Pixar route of wanting to focus almost entirely on new spin-offs and sequels instead of exploring new and original IPs?

I want DC to do a Marvel vs. Capcom style fighter more than a platform fighter. IDK, but DC doing one on their own just feels like the wrong kind of environment for those characters.

Most of the Dead Space games are on sale on Steam, with the remake at quite possibly the lowest price it's ever been at.

Should I get the original Dead Space or the remake? Been wanting to get into the Dead Space series for a while and I don't think either the sequel or the 3rd game would be a good starting point compared to at least one version of the first game.

All the jokes you can make about life-size Gardevoir plushies aside, I'm surprised they've made so many life-size plushies in the past decade, especially of mons that are big enough that life-size toys cost hundreds of dollars. I got a life-size Emolga at Disney World one time and it only cost $40 since it's barely over 1 foot.
