I don't think I'm ready for the next several months in this thread after the Presents airs.

Jokes aside, it would be really cool if that one "leak" claiming that a classic collection would be revealed came true
I hate you for using this image, just so you know

The possible reason why there's been a long wait for re-releases for gen 1-3 Pokémon games is that Europe does have strict rules on games with gambling features (even simulated gambling)

You mean to tell me using tokens instead of money that get exchanged at a separate building doesn't make it not gambling?

Logo discussion gets kind of a bad rep on the internet - it's generally associated with very young kids making strange edits. Shroob fell into that rabbit hole once - the Klasky-Csupo logo is a common victim.

That said, there's a lot of people out there willing to catalog these weird and wonderful watermarks and share them with the world. And they come in a lot of varieties. That's why I've been drawing Pokemon based on them!

Though there are still some logos that haunt me to this day...
Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate this bumper since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of weird fanfic ideas about the Deadly Six I've created within my brain. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles, it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for this bumper at this micro-instant. For it. Hate. Hate.

Been working on some ideas that came to me as I was playing Scarlet and Violet.
Name: Terasolem
Type: Rock
Ability: Cracked Creation: When sent out, gains -1 in all stats. Terastallizing it transforms it into Perfect form

Type: Rock/Dragon (Perfect)
Ability (Terastallized): Perfect Creation: All negative stats become positive stats. It's stats cannot be lowered.

Description: Terasolem is said to of been born in the great crator of Paldea. It's original form is cracked and chipped, as if it's been smashed over and over again, but Terastallized, it becomes as smooth as the crystals that are found in its home, gaining giant crystal wings, but also dark crimson eyes. It's first form seems to be cowardly and timid, but its Perfect form is ferocious and dangerous.

--
Name: Traddish
Type: Grass/Ground
Ability: Absorbing Roots: The user gains more health from absorbing moves
Hidden Ability: Sap Sipper

Description: Despite similarities to Trubbish, Traddish is a separate Pokemon altogether. It spends it's time underneath the soil, absorbing nutrients to help it evolve. If plucked by unexpecting farmers, it let's 9ut a loud screech until it is let go. It hates dirty, polluted places and often finds itself in clean farms and untamed wilds.
--
Name: Rootoder
Type: Grass/Ground
Ability: Absorbing Roots: The user gains more health from absorbing moves
Hidden Ability: Sap Sipper

Description: This Pokemon rummages through gardens and farms, eating any vegetable in its path. It turns vegetables into energy that, when expelled, help the growth rate of all manner of plants. But due to its persistent and even aggressive nature, these Pokemon are constantly being chased away by farmers and gardeners. Stand offs of Rootoder and Garboder are rare occasions, and their fights have torn apart cities and towns alike.

I need a Traddish. Right now.

I can 10000% picture what it'd look like and the inspiration is just so fun.

It's this one but I admittedly didn't read much into it so the whole thing could be a load of bologna

There was a problem fetching the tweet

A classic collection that contains the everything from the classic gens in one package
Includes the remakes of Gen 1
Also allows for 3rd versions to be sold seperately

Actually sounds like a good idea so it's bs

I had a dream that Rumia from Touhou was my daughter and she was smol and sweet. She looked like a little anime girl despite it taking place in the “real” world, and was smaller than normal since she was probably as tall as a 1-2 year old baby despite seemingly being no younger than maybe 5. She had chibi-like proportions.

She also ate people which made me upset, but she ran on cartoon physics so they’d shrink and not get torn up when she ate them + she’d spit them back out when I told her to (no one died or got hurt, so I couldn’t stay mad at my little girl). In a way, I guess she was sorta like Kirby because of that, but with sharp teeth she didn’t use on anyone. She also liked candy; I think another kid tried giving her a blue sucker so they could be her friend without being eaten (I’m not sure if they were eaten or not, but at least they were fine afterwards if so).

At one point, she flew at me and I felt she’d try to eat me too, but I stopped her in the air by blocking with my hand or leg or something and she didn’t. I’m not sure if there was much else to that moment other than her still looking happy while hovering in front of me, her arms outstretched like a plane.

She was a mischievous but precious and adorable little youkai bean.

Is Pokemon Masters worth playing at this point?

For that matter, are Mario Kart Tour or any of the Nintendo mobile games worth playing or spending much time on at this point? I never really got into any of them. I've only played a handful of mobile games since getting my first more modern smartphone...nearly eight years ago holy **** I'm old.

If this true, the “get a special Mon for catching everything” for Red Blue Yellow is going to be brutal, especially for single appearance Mons.

Wow I hate this 1 lol.

Splitting the old games into 2 different collections, and then having Yellow, Crystal and Emerald be their own thing separate from both would.......actually be the most Nintendo thing imaginable tbh.

I didn't get them... maybe I'm a fake Cosmo fan.

I need to rewatch Sonic X asap
It’s a perfectly fine children’s anime that served as a solid introduction to Sonic and his world for the kids of the 2000’s.

Anyone who tells you it’s garbage is lying. Anyone who tells you it’s peak shonen is also lying.

I love that the new Onimusha protagonist is Miyamoto Musashi, and they're using the likeness of Toshiro Mifune.

…But why is he (and apparently the voice of the Gauntlet…and possibly everyone else) British?

To be fair they just dropped Gen 2 on 3ds and left it at that. No collection, just standalone purchases.

With the 30th anniversary I could totally see this happening. Unironically a collection like this probably rivals scarlet and violet in terms of money.

Ribbon collectors, nostalgic fans, and shiny hunters would all go crazy.

Because you know if they do this, Ruby sapphire and emerald are getting those E reader events.

Meaning we would be able to shiny hunt Mew and Deoxys more efficiently. As well as getting shiny Ho-Oh and Lugia in Gen 3.

It’s such an easy money making plan, that I can’t believe they haven’t done it sooner.

Also sounds like you would get emerald if you bought one collection and crystal if you bought the other physically. So they wouldn’t be completely standalone.

Yeah I mean having the 3rd versions be standalone purchases assuming I'm reading that right.

What a ****ing day.

So my TV broke yeah? So I bought a new one. Guess what? It was too big for my original table. So my mom, bless her heart, bought me this coffee table that's long enough for my new TV. And I don't know how new age tvs work, but mine apparently has this watch free app (tvs have apps? Wtf?) And it actually has some good shows on it.

My anxiety is all over the place, but I took my meds, and now I'm going to bed.

I think I must be reading it wrong tbh.

It's 2 collections that if you buy both you get the third versions or
I think that's the case actually.

I kinda get why they're standalone, most people are only gonna be interested in the 3rd version (myself included). I don't really care for exclusivity, just give me the definitive standalone game.

If anything, it's really nailing the point that there is zero reason for Pokemon to have different versions in 2025

After all these years

You'll get to experience peak with the Battle Frontier.

Assuming this is even true.

Oh it's not.

A full on Gen 1-3 collection with FRLG, and the ability to purchase the 3rd version standalone if you're not into exclusives?

Bull****.

Unless it's $60 then yeah I'll believe it.

Correct, you can either purchase the third version standalone or if you buy the collection you get a digital code for them instead.

Yeah it's weird. The English voices being British accents. I feel like they do that for many olden times stories. It's just that we're used to the European ones doing it, and not Asian ones. It would've made more sense if the English accents leaned towards Japanese still I guess. But I'm sure some people feel the same about using American accents for the English versions of a lot of stuff too.

Or they were Xenoblade fans, who knows.
