I decided to draw the main Zeti OC that I have. I know he looks very similar to Zor, but that's cuz they're the same 'breed/subspecies' of Zeti in my lore.

Yeah the nihilistic miserable Zeti turned out to be besties with a priest. It's a small Hex after all.

I did my best to make him look at least somewhat different from Zor despite them being the same breed. Different horns, longer hair, different accents, markings and of course a spiffy cape.

I swear next time I hear someone make a "girl math" joke I am going to bop them over the head with a book of famous female mathematicians

I am going to start carrying one such book on me everywhere just so I can do that

And if they respond by trying to convince me that girl math is feminist somehow I'm going to bop them on the head again but even harder

Also the first time I heard this term was in a conversation with my transmasc cousin, which added another layer of humor.

I get why you would find it annoying, some of these slang terms TikTok girls use do feel like they have some ironic internalized misogyny to them, but as long as they're not used maliciously I think it's fine.

I feel the same whenever people make "gays can't do math" jokes.

Like, okay, self-deprecating humor is a thing but I don't see why people need to associate something they can't change with a subject they're bad at. Actually wait, I can but it's still annoying.

Alright joking aside I think these jokes can and do actively reinforce gender stereotypes, but I'm too sleepy at the moment to go into it so I'm ****posting about it instead.

Ironic TikTok trend where women, usually in their 20s, use bad mathematical fallacies to justify impulse spending and call it "girl math".

In the trend's defense it is pretty self-aware but I still don't like how the joke is essentially that women are obsessed with spending and think with their emotions.
