Yeah, I don't see why people pay for movie tickets and then spend 2 hours on their phones.

I remember my mom took my siblings and I to see the Lego Batman movie and a mom next to her was tallkng on her phone the entire movie.

I know the orders are going to ship either this month or next but, come on, that game is LONG overdue for release.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the modern console ports to go up for pre-order.

Anyways, I don't remember the last loud theater I went to. It was probably Endgame which btw overrated movie. For 11 years and 22 movies of build-up, I expected better tbh.

The theater I went to was pretty quiet thankfully, any reactions people had seemed to be in whispers. No inconsiderate scumbags throwing popcorn everywhere and abusing a poor chicken.

Certainly random I guess. My opinion of LGR has certainly fallen over the past year, been ordering since theur Vita days, but the wait times are just something I've resigned to given their business model.

I bundled my order with Rugrats NES, which came out last Fall, but now because of the manufacturing issue they had, the situation is now reversed and will delay receiving my copy of Shantae. lol

I didn’t even know strategy guides were still a thing, let alone games from 25 years ago.

I've been surprised at some of the prices of aftermarket guides actually.

It is more convenient to look things up online, but reading through a picture-less Gamefaqs guide or slowing down a YT video can be more time consuming than just flipping a page.

My go to example is a song Janelle Monae made for Rio goddamn 2, that’s really great but no one ever talks about. Likely because no one saw Rio 2.

Yeah. There's a lot of (justified) frustration out there and what Doug Bowser said certainly didn't help that, and also I don't think what he said had the same intent as when Don Mattrick said it.

I really saw it more as saying "we're continuing to support the Switch 1 and it's still a viable option for people looking to get into Nintendo" as compared to when Don Mattrick said "just go play our old **** if you're too broke to afford internet" (which some people still didn't have in 2014 and still don't have today).

Similar enough messaging and certainly not good optics either way, but completely different tone.

Realistically, I think giving a voucher for a game that has a free Switch 2 upgrade is possible. Or free NSO Expansion Pack for a couple of months to a year.

Though, honestly the Ambassador Program also wasn't that great lol. 10 NES Roms and 10 GBA Roms, neither with added features isn't a lot when you really think about it. Like, it's certainly generous—especially since GBA games never touched the 3DS outside of that—but it also wasn't much.

More or less, from what I've seen, and deservedly so, when it comes to game pricing. Some are also upset about the 450 on the console itself, which I also get.

Really the only other complaint I've seen is the Nintendo approved Discord aspects being kind of whatever.
