Alright, the price isn’t going up. At least for a while. Finally some decent news.

Here’s hoping I can get my preorder in next week. I applied for the invitation so let’s see if that works.

Im tempted to get the bundle but I feel gross even doing that because im playing right into Nintendos greedy hands

Because of their BS "only the online host can do the invite" rule, im suck with Bestbuy or GameStop

Thank god I a pro controller person, my switch 1 pro is still working good and the only thing it doesnt do is wake up the switch 2 with the home button butnrhat aint no big deal

Y’know back when the teraleak was happening it was reported that Gamefreak was mainly developing gen 10 for Switch 2, but an original Switch version was also being worked on.

I thought it was weird at the time, but in hindsight it kinda makes sense. For pricing or other reasons, not everyone’s gonna be willing to make the jump to Switch 2, at least not at first. Better to cover all your bases.

The good thing is, Ill probably be lucky to preoreder because people called into NPR answering their question about how people feel about the prices and most people said that they were too high, which I still believe they're too high, but maybe this means I'll be able to pre-order one with no problem

If Nintendo really wants to show off that the Switch 2 can run games at 120FPS, they're probably going to have to still make games the Switch 1 can run anyway.

It was my birthday last week actually. I was too preoccupied though worrying about personal things though to mention this. I'm not 33 as of last week.

That said, ended up getting birthday money and grabbed lot of novels (Some on Amazon.ca) and a few movies.

Just so you know game saves are stored in console memory, not the SD card

Do not wipe your Switch if you don't want to lose any non-cloud save files.

Source: My stupid *** who lost all their Pokémon because those games don't have cloud saves and I forgot to transfer to HOME

Watched Zack Snyder's Twilight of the Gods this week.

He's at his best with original content outside of superheroes and that's where he should stay at. As a sucker for mythologies. This was an awesome series.

Next I'll have to check out the new Devil May Cry series on NetFlix.

That's probably why I'm keeping my old Switch around, and not wiping it.

Can't risk losing all my monsters.

On the topic of Switch 2, I'm thankful for no price hike for games and console like I was originally fearing. Accessory price increase is unfortunate but still a better trade-off than the other option. Thank god Switch 1 controllers are compatible.

I also picked a good week to go on vacation so my chances of preordering next week are much better.

I've unfortunately got physical therapy on Thursdays from 12-1pm, but hopefully pre-orders will all be settled by then. I know Target runs on EST, Best Buy runs on CT, and GameStop is usually in the morning (to align with stores opening).

Here's hoping I can get my hands on a console bundle. For the rest I'll just grab them piecemeal or hope I get an invite to order from Nintendo's store.

I’m not gonna knock Power-A, I always bought their controller when I still had my Switch. The quality was always good enough without the enhanced features. I did have to rotate them every 6 months to a year, but that was mostly due to my own negligence and clumsiness.
