Could the stage you fight Tabuu on be used as a starter/counter pick in tournaments. Obviously it's unattainable without the help of cheats but it would add some much need variety to standard play. Here are some of the properties:

* The stage size roughly the same size as final destination
* Can't grab onto the ledge
* No stage edges to wall climb up
* You can go through the platform from underneath

So who do you think would have a advantage here?
Do you think it should be modified so that you can grab the corners?
Should this stage be used in tournaments?

Tournaments aren't going to use stages that you can only access through cheats. Think of the no-tripping code, which is clearly a benefit to the competitiveness of the game. You'd have to mod every single Wii used and before that, get everyone to agree to play with the hacks.

If you really want variety, there's this thing...I don't know if you've heard about it...stage builder? If you want to just play on Tabuu's stage for fun go right ahead but if you're talking about tournaments, it's completely out of the question.

Well one of the main complaints about brawl is about the lack of balanced stages. So it's always good to have more stages. Also for custom stages you have to either download it onto every Wii or make them separately. So they're as hard to implement as hacks.

What if the stage is modified so you can grab the ledge?

Probably in front of his Wii
1. Things achieved through hacking will never become tournament legal.

If you could grab onto the edges, it might be neutral, but you can't, so it would be banned IMO. ZSS, Ivisaur, and any other tether-ers couldn't recover at all.

There ARE actually ledges to grab on the Tabuu stage. Regardless, It will not be legal.

If the stage is hacked to make the edge grabbable, your playing on FD with a different background. Now if Tabuu was still cruising around attacking while your fighting your opponent, then it'd get interesting.

haha yah throw your opponent up in the air while tabuu is doing his butterfly form attack. That would be an awsome stage. But yah there's no way they would modify a stage just for a tourney. All the hacks might screw other gameplay mechanics up anyway.

What i can see them doing is making special stages just for tourneys. In fact that's exactly what they should do. have list of a whole bunch of stages made just for tourneys and make
them torney legal with no walk offs, stage attacks, or any other kind of stuff. sort of like the stages u fight the subspace bug possessed characters at in SSE during the Great Maze.

When you talk about balanced stages, it's hard to get variety. Really Battlefield and Final Destination is pretty much all you need.

But while we're talking about SSE, what about the rainbow shadow character stages. Or maybe the stages where you fight the purple particle versions.

exactly what i said earlier............ anyway, those stages with ridley would be good options too. What about that one floating platform in the lake level i think where bullet bills come at u and the bomb head guys attack u. That would be cool to have a moving stage
