Turn around and punch

Not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but I was playing around with DK while waiting for an online brawl to start, and I found that you can use DK's giant punch and move the stick in the opposite direction to punch in that direction similar to Captain Falcon and Ganondorf. However, with DK you have to tilt the stick immediately after pressing your special attack button. Unlike Falcon and Ganon, there's no animation for turning around. DK just immediately punches in the opposite direction. While DK is charging the punch, you can tilt the stick and press the button simultaneously as if using headbutt, but if DK is not charging, you tilt the stick immediately after or you will do a headbutt.

Personally, I use this move ALL THE TIME. If a person sees you jump in front of them, they naturally expect you to use your punch. However, if you land behind them, they don't know what to expect. This makes pulling off Giant's Punch successfully much easier.

Waiting for you to slip up.
I always keep a charged Giant Punch in store for a punishment for whiffed attacks or missed grabs.

Oh lord, after Samus uses Zero Laser, I get behind her (Because for some reason, I'm good at dodging FS's.) And she's uncurling into ZSS, I just let a rip.

Haha doesn't really need a thread but I rarely use a giant punch without the aerial pivot. I usually try to jump INTO my opponent and do a reverse punch. That way if they're still a little behind me the punch will still catch them, and if they try to dodge to where they THINK will be behind the punch they take the brunt of it. Very effective.

You can do this out of a run which could be useful if you are getting chased or you could run past them and then do it.
