I’d be more excited for the animated Mario movie if it was ANY other company than Illumination, though since there really isn’t much to say about it at this time, all I can say is I’ll be a little disappointed if this song isn’t associated with the movie in any way.

There's no way Nintendo is going to let Illumination screw this up. I guarantee you if they did they'd be getting it for sure. I think we'll be good.

Here's mine: Instructions not Included (At first I thought it was one of those comedies that tries hard to be funny by using adult jokes here, and there, but once the main character gets his job in America as a stunt-man, the whole movies changes from a comedy to a comedic-drama (And for the better). The movie is pretty sad, and gives both of the parents sympathetic reasons as to why they did it within the movie, one of the only grips I've had with it is that the music is pretty repetitive, and a few bits but that's it).

-The Prince of Egypt
-The Road to El Dorado

Off the top of my head, In Bruges. Fantastic movie that not enough people have seen. It's funny, it's genuinely sad at some parts, and really throws you for a loop at the end. One of my all-time favorites. I love movies and could talk about them all day...

Me neither. It was just another typical princess film basically. What made it different from others?

I thought it was okay at best but overrated. Where would a sequel even go from there other then Hans trying to get revenge and speaking of Hans. I swear the whole twist villain there felt so out of place and at the last minute.

The Live-Action Disney movies would of simply be at least decent, if they actually try with the script so that it would at least have a sense of purpose of being different compared to the original Disney flicks. They could've been complex stories, ones with realized characters, and in a way makes the whole setting feel even more alive with it's own different messages that makes people think, or as a deconstruction. However nope, instead they don't try to change the script or make it plausible because they know that simply putting a "Remake" based on the original gives them a lot of money for being a Disney flick (At least the Jungle Book one was good).

The one thing I don't like about Disney nowadays as well as Pixar is all they're doing now is keep recycling the same formulas for their movies and inserting it with their characters especially the typical twist villain which had been happening since Toy Story 3 with Lotso.

Its too that point I see them coming a mile away and can't enjoy them anymore.

Oh and I also can't stand the damn pre-climax argument because we know how its gonna end. They'll see the error of their ways come back to each other and apologize. So dramatic and tense are they ever gonna get back together hurr.

IMO I honestly thought it was a fast-paced entertaining popcorn monster romp that didn't drag on or overstay its welcome. I think the hate stems from all the butthurt of everyone's King being killed.

The early 2000’s had some pretty underrated Disney movies imo. Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Dinosaur, etc were all great. The latter definitely appealed to me the most since I was such a prehistoric nerd as a wee lass. The egg scene is still godly to this day.

One who does bad things (Or at least stuff that's against the heroes) for a good/sympathetic reason, and not as a characters that's on the heroes side last minute, I mean that he's willing to do some of the awful things in order to either help the world, loses it and doesn't know what to do with his/her life, get something that helps someone he/she cares about, or just something that makes things debatable.

The issue I see is because Disney's target is kids that there's probably no need to change anything different from their stories. I'd still rather they do different approaches. I would had much preferred if in Coco that Ernesto was actually Miguel's great-grandfather and rather Hector died of natural causes (Say he got run over by a train or choked) and instead was just a bad friend who stole his songs putting a stain to their relationship once found out and his fans upset that he never came up with the songs to begin with. No need for some damn twist villain.
