Here are some new questions for you anime fans on this thread:

• Most overrated anime you've seen and why?
• Most underrated anime you've seen and why?

Most overrated is definitely Bakemonogatari. It's an anime that's carried by long conversations between the characters, with the dialogue supposed to make each episode entertaining. Yet, whenever each conversation started, it only had my attention for a minute or so before I became pretty bored. Some of the lines were kinda interesting, but it was mostly just long, dragged out dialogue. Bakemonogatari barely even had a plot either. Araragi met girls who had different problems to deal with, but these problems weren't even focused on that much. And because of this, most of the characters were easily forgettable. The only one that stood out at all was Senjougahara, but she wasn't even in most of the episodes. Some of the episodes near the end were interesting, but even they could've been way more.

Most underrated is one I saw called Chrome Shelled Regios. Not much to say, but some of the characters are very well fleshed out, including the protagonist Layfon, who is written well despite being overly powerful. This one definitely left me wanting more.

Most overrated: Attack on Titan

I actually watched the first season as it aired and stoked its popularity among the fledgeling weebs at my Middle School. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but it's not that good. People liked it because it wasn't afraid to kill off characters, but then it continued and just got...weird.

Most underrated: Fruits Basket (OG and 2019)

A nice romantic comedy anime that doesn't get nearly enough attention. If it weren't for the remake it likely wouldn't be anywhere near as noteworthy despite it deserving at least some attention.

Code Geass and Re:Zero. Code Geass is REALLY ****ing stupid yet people act like edgy teenagers about it whereas I literally couldn't care for any of the characters of Re:Zero. I'd put Konosuba on here too but I only saw a single episode so eh, might not have been the best impression

Cutie Honey and Dirty Pair. Both of them filled to the brim with fanservice yet does it really tastefully (Except Universe **** that show it's creepy as **** even if it's gayer than Re while having the characters mostly be damn cool in their own right. It's also filled to the brim with style on both sides, although Dirty Pair certainly has the edge due to the great episodes we get due to the disastrous Lovely Angels causing all kinds of messes
