Regarding death battle, I never understood why people take it seriously. Even in their earliest days they tend to do a lot of character mismatches (Blanka vs Pikachu make no sense whatsoever), tend to give vulnerabilities or strengths that they don't have (Mako cells from Cloud making him vulnerable to the Master sword somehow, Blanka being able to withstand steel and electricity for some reason) and whoever wins seems to be biased towards some characters being favorites due to whatever reason.
