Ungimping Beam Sword

I haven't visited smash boards in a long while so I don't know if someone already discovered this, but I found out that you can ungimp Peach's beam sword by using UpB, Up Taunt, and Down Taunt in addition to throwing it.

And I was all ready to flame about everyone knowing about throwing the sword.

EDIT: I even just got a chance to test this out. It works.

i discovered this awhile back. not sure if the thread is still around tho. the ungimping without throwing works with anything that removes the beam swords model. like toad will refresh the beamsword as well

I noticed this thing "activates" using attacks/taunts where the beam sword disappears from Peach's hand. Does this mean it also works with Toad? If someone's lucky to get the item please confirm.

What do you mean when you say "ungimping" the beam sword?

When Peach pulls a Beam Sword via randomly-plucking-one-through-turnip-pulling, it has about half the range as a regular item spawned beam sword.

Normally Peach can throw it to regain the range - but as you can see, we have other options now. :D

Anyone know which is faster though? Uptaunt, downtaunt, or toad?

Actually, the fastest method is probably to jump, Z-drop and Nair all at once.

Toad might be useful, people try to attack Peach so they can get the sword ^^

Another thing about the sword is that if they get it and you Toad the slashes I think the spores make them drop the sword to the floor.
