Wall Jumping in Final Destination

Disclaimer: This was a self-find for me, if it is already common knowledge then I apologize.

While training on Final Destination not ten minutes ago, I realized that you can wall jump off of a small area underneath the stage, and in doing so, recover. I will attempt to describe this as best as I can with words.

The edge of the stage drops off at a horizontal incline heading towards the center of the map. The edge zigzags twice, once near the top (small zigzag) and once more near the base of the main platform. It is in this second, larger, zigzag that you need to position your character.

NOTE* this has only been tested with Toon Link. I will not be testing with other characters because I don't want to. =p

Move yourself into this little "cave" in the wall and make like a normal wall jump. If you do it correctly your character should seemingly slide along the "roof" and come up next to the edge. Reverse the direction of your control stick and you should latch on.

I apologize that I don't have any way to get this on video at the moment, my only webcam is a factory installed version that couldn't pick anything up.

Wall jumping has been around since Melee. Specific characters have the ability to wall jump, and some even have the ability to hang on to walls. FD's wall section that can be jumped from is considerably smaller than it used to be (with an annoying ceiling separating it from the ledge you can grab onto), but this is definitely nothing new.

Thanks for the reply. I know wall jumping has been in the game and the history behind it, I just wanted to know if this was already found out.

Already known, I posted a thread containing this and another technique when I found out about it, but apparently they were both known.
