Glut's style has helped me too, and training with Que? Is really helpful. He knows all kinds of tire tricks. I also like switching up my style midmatch to get inside my opponents head. Like start really aggro then play campy, like malcolm said in his latest interview. Wario is all about his "fear factor" which I totally agree with

I guess you're right, I play a friend who has a good tl and I find that dair just ***** him. But we need more marth videos that MU is hard as hell
It's honestly just a baiting game haha. If you watch what glutonny does, he just baits most of his attacks. He never really rushing in. He always waits for leon to take the bait, and then goes along with the momentum he has.
I don't think marth is as hard as its made out to be. But watching how glutonny baited really helped me. Martha are easy once you get a handle on what to do :D

Glutonny doesnt really have a "playstyle". he's just really deceptively aggressive. it looks like a blind rush, but in reality, he's always baiting and spacing and punishing ****. he also does a lot of risky **** that a regular Wario shouldnt do like leaving his bike on stage and getting SOOO gully offstage when he's just cut his recovery options in half. then still wins. LOL

^^^^^This!
That's the bad thing about starting wario, and then trying to "copy" glutonny. You really have to understand it's not a blind rush. I find that common in new wario users, just trying to rush in without thinking.

Hey, do you know if glutonny won monkey units 7 or not? I know iwas mynoll and gltuonny in wf. But idk who won

He doesn't look blindly aggressive at all... saying he doesn't have a playstyle is like saying that Iron Chef Morimoto doesn't have his own cooking style.

Gluts style is that smart aggro kinda thing, he plays to all of warios strengths but, he gets grabbed a lot more then wario should

K, so after this smashfest, my wario is officially WAY better than my mk. Man, everytime I used Mk they knew how to fight me or something, and when I was wario, it went my way haha. Should I just stop using Mk all in all? Cause I know the debate about whether you should play only one character, or multiple, but when I look at nationals, all the people who place super high play only one character throughout the tourny. Thoughts?

Meta Knight's a fantastic secondary to have. Might save you from the occasional Dedede.
yeah, I'm thinking I might just go mk for DDD or any other dumb MU's. I know the DDD mu pretty well, but I'd prolly be more comfy with mk lol. Falco and olimar too, until I learn those MUs.

D3 is my favorite matchup. Tires are sooo good against him ;) really makes it quite a fun match! With tires you can basically air camp, but now you have an awesome projectile you can utilize to trap, poke and force shields so Bite is waaaaaaaaay easier to land. I've noticed recently that when playing against an opponent, they will come to expect your tire throws and hold their shield, as shield beats tires, however if you mix it up with Bite then shield will get punished. Basically it turns into rock paper scissors with you at an advantage.

what? ally and esam use lots of chars
But it's not like they go "Hmmm x-matchup is annoying for me and idk it w/my main cuz it's too hard and i don't want to so i think i'll learn Y character and just win" They learned everything with their mains first. They are what i like to call specialist. People who stick to their character and CAN play everything with them and win. Whether or not they stay their character, whether it be due to them wanting to sandbag, or just using a secondary they enjoy i don't say, oh look it's ally the mk,marth,ic, main.

I love using a nice falco for d3s that I face. I don't know if it's the best option, but it works for me... most of the time.

Use Wario! I'm telling y'all all y'all need to do is work with tires!
Honestly I've never tried to use tires for ddd's. I usually just do the fiction and space fairs and get in smart bites.
I'll have to try that out mext time. Would tire trapping be the best thing to do with the tires? Like, what are good things to try to do with the tires to work up an opening?

I have been trying olimar for d3 lately.

Any thoughts?

Note: My mk is trash.
I was advising it before. Olimar faces up pretty well to D3 and you really shouldnt lose. dual mains like Asadeltaand Waft-Oli that could switch between both

Brick improved a lot yo. Some of your uairs were predictable, I'd mix that up with bite a little more

you ran into a lot of tjolts and stuff and whiffed too many bites in the second match :S but good combos :D

hindsight's 20/20, but on frigate, you probably could've prevented the gimp if you biked the other way. SDI all those bairs! :<

I know we don't have much as far as the ness MU goes... and this is a fairly good match. I kept air releasing and DI'ing the fsmash wrong, but I think my movement is really good.

Hey man not bad at all! Just a couple things I saw.

First off though, ness does NOT have a grab release on us. When he grabs us, our feet touch the floor, so just don't mash and let it come out naturally, and you won't eat a fsmash lol. The only way for him to grab release you if if you hold up(with tap jump) or push x or y to jump while in the grab.

1:03 You would want to bike away from the stage. It's usually the best thing to do. Biking toward the stage against a good player = gimp. Start getting used to that. It'll help. I only bike toward the stage when I'm already insanely high in the air, so it can go unpunished.

1:26 Don't get fsmash happy ^_^ It might seem like this great powerful, superarmored move, but if you whiff it, it's always a punish against better playes. Don't let that turn into a habit!

1:37 Nice Dacus!! :D

1:45 you already mentioned how you knew you were DIing that fsmash wrong, but now you know you shouldn't even be getting hit by it so it's all good ^_^

2:03 AHH! No Fsmash!! Use that to KILL! Shoud have used bite, or grab instead. Grab then the Fsmash. Instead of just throwing the fsmash out there.

2:34 sorry I just cringe everytime you get hit lol

Also, you don't always have to approach from the air. A lot of warios get themselves thinking that the only reliable way to approach is from the air, which might be true for some MU's, but Wario's ground game Isn't bad at all :)

I look forward to seeing more of you man.

Hey nick, how do you mash out with air releasing? Using attack commands only?
