What made you pick your main?

My main is snake and B for me.

B and E. And I guess A in a way, but that's not even a reason why I mained him. I love StarFox games, but I've never liked Wolf. EVER. And he annoyed me in StarFox Assault. And I hate his voice in Brawl. I never ever ever ever ever ever evereverever expected to main him. But I do anyway.

It's A and E for me.

I have always been a huge fan of the MGS games, and I was really excited when I learned Snake was going to be in Brawl. When I finally got a chance to play with him, I instantly became a fan of remote mine spamming in 4 player brawls. My friends need therapy after matches because they never know when or where I'll blow them up next. Snake kind of reminds me of the Goblin Techies from DOTA(if anyone here played that WC3 mod) and I was always a huge fan of them.

I mostly go for characters because I liked the character in their respective series. I picked up Zelda in Melee because I liked her in OOT, and other Zelda games. Her move set gradually grew on me, and I couldn't imagine changing my main.

I picked Wolf primarily because I'm a huge Wolf fan and have been wanting him forever. I however am not sure he will end up my main because I still really like Falcon, Link, Fox, Sonic, Snake and Bowser however.

E: I only knew about lucario from Pokemon and wasn't that interested in him when he joined brawl. But when I got his scene in adventure mode and played as him, it just felt good.

I main Falco because of A, B, D, and E. Falco was my original main in SSBM, but as time passed and Falco was never confirmed for Brawl, I got a little worried. I then started to main Mario, while Falco just sat in the character select screen, staring at me. When Falco was confirmed for Brawl, I wasn't that thrilled because Mario was my main. Even though Mario was my main, I wanted to atleast try out Falco. In the end I decided to remain Falco.

B. Yoshi's got a great playing style, fast, goofy, he's tough, has more power than people think in his standard attacks and they're good for "comboing"
C. All of his specials have been buffed so that they're useful now.
D. I mained him in melee, so why not stick with him.
E. No one else uses him so it's nice to be unique at tourneys.

I used kirby in sse and thought he wasn't bad, tried on wifi and didn't do too bad, so now I'm practicing with him... it used to be Lucario because he looked cool
Still have no official "main" but I'm still trying out everyone... it doesn't help that the characters seem balanced.

I originally had marth as my main, until I found out he wasn't as good as juggling as he was in melee. I switched to my first melee main, Link. He is back and better than ever in brawl... at least his damage is : P

Well it's A (I like the character and am a loz fan) and B (I love the follow up smash attack... extends the range which is important for the new Link)

His omni-slash (ff7 cameo) special is awesome, although hard to land on a decent player

I LOVE his spin attack and how it almost starts up immediately and pushes the enemy back pretty far. And his air down is a monster. He has lots of long range attacks and the great combo extender, the gale boomerang. Oh, and he has bombs too

I chose Diddy because he's my favorite Nintendo character, like, ever. It was nice to see that he could hold his own in battle, that's for sure.
