Wario - My Brawl main by far. Sex kick fair ftw! He's so much fun to play as, because he moves sooo fast and sooo far in the air. Think of him as a heavy jigglypuff. If you use the waft to deal damage instead of KO with, it gives you the advantage when you start trading kills with your opponent. And I love how his fair combos into just about any ground move.

Pikachu - I liked Pikachu in 64, but I didn't like the changes done to him in Melee. Now that he's been buffed, he's fun to play as. He still feels like he doesn't have enough options, but the options he does have are so strong so that's okay.

Olimar - Olimar is really cool to begin with, and I was planning on maining him. He's a real good character in Brawl, although I'm still having trouble getting the timing down on his aerials, which are REALLY good. He's unique, fun to play as, has a spammable projectile (I love it when Marths/MK's spam their neutral A's against >B spam, because they set themselves up for a grab).

I'm still working on learning to play as Sonic, and I also want to learn to play as someone who seriously counters Marth (Zelda or Wolf, prehaps?) becuase I really don't like Marth...

Mario seems like he's a little bit improved from Melee, but I've been ignoring his FLUDD because it seems pretty ineffective.
It cancels up-B's.
Same for Pokemon Trainer. I really love Ivysaur, and Squirtle isn't bad, but I have to practice with Charizard. I also don't like how you start the battle with a random pokemon.
If you click on a pokemon on the picture during character select, you can choose which one you start out with.

*Edit* Oops.. double post...

In Melee, my top three in order of skill were Marth, Ganon, and G&W. In order of fun it was Ganon, G&W, then Marth.

In Brawl, Ike and G&W are my top two. I have slightly more fun playing as Ike (it's like they gave Melee Ganon a sword!), but I'm slightly better with G&W.

When I'm not playing either of those two, I'm generally using Diddy, Lucario, or Wolf.

Ike: fun fact...the root definition for Ike comes from a word that is synonymous to badass...I really like his playstyle and its like someone said earlier, its like Ganon with a sword...

real fun fact...Ike is short for Isaac...

R.O.B: so much fun...I love the way it plays...

Ganondorf: keeping my main from Melee...he went from an air game to a ground game but w/e...I got used to it pretty quick...(although I still play him like I would in Melee occasionally)...

Zelda: I wanted to use her in Melee, but I ended up just using her for fun...but Im glad that Sheik's best attack now is the Down B...I love the way she plays...

Pokemon Trainer: I love how the 3 play...PT is like a special edition bundle of awesome....and its indeed awesome...

I also like playing as Toon Link and Yoshi sometimes...and Dedede...and Lucario...and Luigi...and G&W...and Wolf...and Ness...and Link...and Zero Suit Samus...and Snake...

not liking Sonic's playstyle much but I want to be good with him...I just cant handle super fast characters well...

Wolf, hands down. I'm surprised how little people I'm seeing that are deciding to main Wolf..and how many are deciding to main Pit.. I HATE MetaKnight..It's not satisfying at all when your huge combo only ends up doing like 10 % to your enemies..

Sonic.
Right away I found out that he wasn't for novices, however, that shouldn't/won't stop me from practicing despite the countless losses.

Pit, Mario, Sonic, and Metaknight in that order. I have only lost with Pit like 3 or 4 times out of like 15

Still messing around with characters, choosing between Link, Toon Link, Shiek, Samus (NOT ZSS), Ike, Diddy, and pit. I mained Link, Samus, and Shiek in Melee.

I used to be all about Lucas before Brawl came out and when I actually got my hands on the game, I don't know what happened but I just didn't give the character much attention :p. I started out maining Sheik, which felt awesome at first but pretty disappointing later on. She is in no way nearly as good as she was in Melee (I didn't main her in Melee). I've been playing a lot online and having to get your opponents to 150%+ to get a shot at taking their stock was just too frustrating. And don't give me that ''you're not playing it right'' BS. :] Her lack of priority makes me cry at night.

I've picked up Pikachu lately which has proven to be quite an annoying character to play against but I really don't know anymore lol. I wanna pick up Falco.

Snake is ridiculously fun to play as. The mindgame potential is just insane.

Bowser needed a little adjusting with the new >B as now you cant throw(but its always fun to bowser-cide when both people have only i stock left :p) but now its not a problem.

Lucario turned into almost everything Mewtwo should have been (though they sorta have diffrent play styles what they have in comain is the extra distance and conacting of the moves).

Sonics b moves where annoying to use at first ( I still think the should make his >B and down B 1 move aka 1 spindash)though with the fun of using him aireal and his ^B able to go into aireals was great.

PT was very virsatile as how he can have both fast combo-ers but still have KO-ing ability with his 3 pokemon its like a 3-in 1 :p. Though having to wait for a good time to switch out can be irratating as people can wait in front of you and give you a fully charged smash or those annoying DK punches.

As a side question I see a lot of people saying they will main 1 of the 3 PT pokemon but dont the pokemon get tired? or was that removed or dose it not make a huge impact in the battle cause for me I really havent noticed any diffrence when I dont switch (which is not very often I happen to like switching when people least expect it).

So far I'm thinking of maining Lucas, Captain Falcon, and Lucario. They have just been the three that I have used the most... maybe next week I'll start trying out Pokemon Trainer...

Wolf for the fact that he fits my style perfectly. I mean doing a flip kick and then a Fsmash thats faster than Fox Illusion and a Fspecial that head butts the guy out of there is ****ing awesome.

Ike: I love his Sword Ragnell. ****ing Flames  any ways becuase my trigger finger is under B, guess how easy it is to start up 15 hit combos

Pit - Is a very fun character with an awesome glide attack. He has versatile gameplay with numerous utility uses that could be excellent upon further training as him. I enjoy using him most out of any character.

Wolf - A pure bad *** fighter, though heavy, has very quick, powerful attacks for some reason. I just can't help but smile every single time I hit the perfect spot with his illusion. CLAW!

P.Diddy - Come on, like wolf, I have been begging to play as him since the N64 Smash! Tons of gadgets, banana peals ftw and face humping action! Just plain awesome!

Fox - My main since N64 and a character I will NEVER drop. Simple as that.

1- Ike: It feels great to kill stuff. And jabs are so fun now. :lick:
2- Wolf: I like his style... just don't like the lag after his Fair. Love the blaster and quick reflect.
3- Olimar: Uairs with Yellow Pikmins ftw.
