Why Marth Is Like Harvey Dent

He was melees white knight. But brawl burned his face bad and and left him with half the sword range like half of harvey's face. Ken is gone and brawl needs a hero. Evildoers like snake and metaknight are wreaking havoc on brawl tournaments. It might be too late to save Marth but who will step up to save brawl?

As they said in Batman: "You either die a hero, or live long enough to be a villain"
You could then interpret Marth two ways: 1) That he died a hero in Brawl and this is another incarnation of Marth, but not the hero, all powerful one we remember; or 2) That Marth has outlived his hero status and has now become a weak villain. Either way, he still has some of the original Marth's strength.
