i know this is supposed to be some kind of attempt at humor but im pretty sure those who sincerely have a problem with brawl are those who are concerned with things such as hitstun and control problems and tripping

if anything you should have made a thread mocking those complaining about the game being new and different

I dont care if this is a joke or not hippo i dont like to flame but your a moron. They put alot of work into this game giving us whatever we asked for and they came up with some amazing stuff. Stage builder wifi new adventure mode lots of characters etc. etc. and with a new game comes new tricks there could be like wavedashing 2.0 in the next brawl we just have to find it.

Brawl is not Melee 2.0, Brawl is Brawl 1.0 because Melee wasn't SSB 2.0, and Brawl isn't SSB 3.0 either people should stop acting as if they were sequels and realize that each game is different to one another and they can't be compared at all because they are NOTHING alike.

i HATE when people use as a counter argument to people complaining about advanced techs being removed that "It's not Melee 2.0" so are these people implying that if brawl had L canceling, wavedashing etc... that it would all of a sudden be melee 2.0??? If it had these techs it would still be a different god **** game... except one with a potentially higher competetive ceiling. Hell it seems if jumping was gone in Brawl these same people would just be like, ahh no big deal, its a new game.... get used to it...noobs are just happy they are gone because the skill gap has decreased for now...until maybe and hopefully someday other advanced techs pop up.... but i have my doubts that anything as groundbreaking as L canceling will ever appear in brawl... anything that has been discovered so far has been minor at best....idk i am hopeful that brawl will be competetive, but i am skeptical that it will ever reach melee's depth. I have played it for a few rounds, but I def need some more time with it....some good players that have gotten a decent amount of time are saying its to good, i.e darkrain... but im hoping that is because it actually is... as opposed to it being fun for the sole reason of it being new and fresh...

Wow, that was lame. But slightly humorous. I like that it has no wavedash, I never did get that to where I used it to my advantage, I could do it fine (most of the time) but I couldn't do it one hundred percent. Taking away that stuff is giving people like me a chance to break into it I think, I wasn't bad at the game, but I go into it way to late so I was very much behind, now I can possibly get into MLG with Brawl, which would be awsome.

You see Melee had wavedashing and Brawl doesn't have wavedashing making the ability to wavedash impossible and Melee gives you the ability to wavedash which allows you to wavedash unlike Brawl which doesn't let you wavedash because of no wavedash. You see the wavedash exists in Melee because of the wavedash and wavedashing would let you wavedash across the stage by wavedashing unlike in Brawl where you can't wavedash because of the fact that wavedashing no longer exists due to lack of wavedash meaning you cannot wavedash in Brawl because of no wavedash.

This truly is an awful game.
