I need to go to a tournament that doesn't have all the people I play in every event I go to...
Airbourne. Now that I have a consistent job I can start going to a lot more tournaments. I'll see what I can do in March. I love how the Midwest has something going oon every weekend that's close to home.

Yeah, i heard about that ohayocon shenanigans. Kel got 1st, so it's understandable that you lost to him, since he DOES have Karamity practice (like the only american to actually have japanese yoshi experience XD). I know he got a fightstick out of winning that, so what'd you get? =O

Lastly, I might not be going to my tournament in Indiana because there is a winterstorm watch, with the venue being 3 hours away. >____< It might just be another weekly...

Meh, I didn't get anything.
The TO guy said that they've been on a budget for like...The past 3 years. (This budget being like 500 bucks.) It sucks, but I still had an amazing time. There's always so much hype at cons. <3 He lol3-stocked me on Battlefield.
I'm suprised. I didn't even know that there was a Yoshi main in Japan uptil Kel told me to watch that Youtube video.

i honestly don't like how he plays, so i personally don't care too much about him. He gave Kel yoshi experience though, and that's all that matters.Meh, I didn't get anything.

And I feel that I could've put up a better show. I didn't exactly fight "spam with spam" like I usually do this time. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut no johns.
Oh by the way Airborne. This Sonic main called x2Dx or something like that gave me his opinion says that I have the better Yoshi between me and you. :D He was at Ohayocon as well. : O
I won the majority of friendlies that I played against him, buuuuuuuut nothing is for certain yet.

Most likely, last time we had 24 inches back in December I got out for 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) but it snowed Friday. So far we have already had 4 snow days and we are definably getting more lol. Usually the DC area only uses up like 1 - 3 snow days tops

Apparently, he says that he 2 stocked you in a money match before. I don't think he meant it in like an offensive way or anything. :/
Meh, I could be wrong, but his Sonic was very good to say the least.

i know who you're talking about now: he goes by excel, oreo, w/e.
he 2-stocked me in a money match where i beat him and that was also the day i was considering dropping yoshi to a secondary for falco. i am actually getting a grip on how to play, so i think a 2-stock against an overrated character won't happen again, unless it's someone like X.
edit: also, yeah, hades, but i love how people are stupid enough to compare without having played one of 2 recently... and no, 3 months is not recently for this guy (me).

17th out of 41 in regular singles
9th out of 13 in regular doubles
3rd out of 19 in low-tier singles
4th out of 7 in low-tier doubles
Wish I had placed a little higher, but whatever. I beat Xyro's Samus in low-tier, so I'm happy about that. Only got the AiB results link. Not sure if any of it was recorded, but if they were, I'll post 'em on the video thread.

As for my "secret"... I didn't really do anything different from my normal play style. I moved around with a lot of short-hop air dodges whenever he had a fully charged shot. From that, I was able to bait him into shooting it. Once he didn't have a charged shot anymore, I just DJC reverse egg-lay and back aerial spaced him. It also helped that I didn't let him spike me =P
But... yeah, I just played very patiently and spaced everything well enough that the damage he did to me wasn't something he could combo. Kind of wish those matches had been recorded <.<

If there were 200 people at his tournament with a $10 entry fee, then he would give Yoshi 87.5 points.
Let's see... add that to his current point total,square it, divide it by pi, carry over the 2... and Yoshi would be placed in C rank, above Pit. O_O
