Yoshi Tournament Results: End of an Era, A New Beginning? *updated August 19th

Wish I could have gotten top 10, but I'm happy with my result after not going to a tournament in 2 months. I look at the results, and I believe that everyone who placed higher than I did is overall a better player than I am. I got put in loser's by Denti, and then got knocked out by MJG (thanks Hades, for giving him the Yoshi MU!!!). But overall I had a lot of fun. I don't think I lost a single game outside my tournament matches, heh.
My first match in bracket was against MK, and I won by breaking his shield with down-B, which pushed him slightly to the right, which made him just tumble off the stage to his death. It was the greatest tournament kill I think I've ever gotten, heh. If it ever gets posted, I'll link it on here or something.
I've got a local tournament tonight. Probably won't have enough people in it for it to matter at all (it's not even on smashboards), but I guess I'll post it anyway tomorrow at some point.

17th for most of us, 13th for Scatz but it still gets all of us.
I still remember my 17th streak last year, started turning that around with 5th 7th or 9th a couple of times.

This was a really fun tournament, especially since HadesBlade was in town. We teamed and went double yoshi, but didn't do too hot, lol. Had a good turnout though. Hades, you gotta come back soon so that we can finish our Chess match!

I haven't been to A tournament since the LSC Championships, 100% sure once APEX is over SA will be having a bunch of tournaments again like we did last year, hell I may even host A few at my place.

Nothing; what little Brawl scene there was in Arkansas is dying, and my Fox roommate is moving to San Diego. Just waiting for another tournament remotely close to me to happen so I can spend too much money to travel to it.

I lost to the guys who took 1st and 2nd and still only got 5th >:/ Lada decided to get cocky and go Kirby in his 1st round match who he never uses, and ended up losing which in the end kinda bracket ***** me. If he hadnt done that, I probably wouldve beaten death by suarez and definitely Sephiroth, so I prob wouldve gotten 4th. I MAYBE might've been able to beat Kenneth, but he was ****** last night so Im not too sure if I couldve pulled it off lol.

Depends, how Far is SA to Lubbock?
The lack of tournaments i've been attending this year since... August I think it started, is quite bad.
I literally started having withdrawals for not playing Brawl for so long, Texas Circuit and all, along with SA being busy with school stuff.
Sure, we had Big Boss's ACT 1 tournament, but despite 13 people coming, it was almost like a joke tournament since a few people went different characters while only I and about 2 or 3 others (On SAPR) went their main.
As for the subway tournament I missed despite going, I thought I wasn't on time so I didn't get there around 5:30 and it Just started around 20 minutes when I arrived, despite it supposed to be starting a few hours before. (I may have the times wrong for when I actually got there/the tournament was supposed to start.)

It's funny cuz here in Utah, we had like, nothing going on smash until around August, then after then, we've had one every two or three weeks.
