Fair use for non commercial usage sounds good in theory but it's pretty vague in practice with numerous grey areas like donations. Creative commons struggles with this for their non-commercial licenses. Plus, many piracy sites could be said to be non-commercial, while I do think piracy is necessary for preservation, I don't think it's really exactly fair use

The thing with blocking here is that whenever there's some big drama involving a user I've blocked I keep looking at their messages anyway so ironically I just see only the drama posts from them without the innocent ones.

I never got 'a long copyright length helps authors by forcing them to innovate'. Sure, you're able to use less things by other people, but if you write a successful story then you can just sit on your ass raking in the dough because nobody can do anything with it. Plus, if copyright length is shorter then it also incentivizes writing either unique sequels or new stories.
