Taking this time to re-read One Piece. I'm not going to go too in-depth on my thoughts once I get to later arcs, since even the identity of at least one of the Straw Hats is a major spoiler if someone hasn't read/watched the series and wants to give it a shot, but I've just finished Usopp's introduction arc.
Despite people saying that the series gets good at Arlong, these earlier chapters have held up really well in my opinion, with some scenes (like Chou Chou trying to fight Mohji, or Usopp trying to stop the pirates from getting into town) being downright heartbreaking.
Next up: the introduction of Johnny and Yosaku, and arriving at the Baratie. This is roughly the point where I got hooked on the series, so it will be interesting to read it again after so long.
