I feel like Japanese animation studios used to help co-produce a lot of Western animated shows, at least in the 80s and the 90s. This may no longer be the case, possibly due to Japanese laws.

We need Crystal Dynamics to remake Blood Omen and Soul Reaver with hack and slash gameplay more akin to that of Devil May Cry.
Come to think of it, a lot of people have been saying that they want a remake of Soul Reaver. But what if they remade Blood Omen AND Soul Reaver?

If Konami ever ports Snatcher to modern consoles, which they probably won’t anytime soon, I’m hoping they’ll keep One Night in Neo Kobe City as the opening credits theme and use Twilight of Neo Kobe City as the end credits theme.
I think we can all agree that Tekken 1-5 have such great soundtracks.
It might not happen anytime soon, but I think it’d be pretty cool if Jun Senoue did his own arrangements of Hiroshi Kawaguchi's music, like Space Harrier, Hang-On, and especially OutRun.

Does it feel like anything will be turned into a meme these days, especially something that's not meant to be played for laughs, like a sad or dramatic scene in a movie or TV show that gets taken out of context? Or has it always been this way?

You know what I think would be interesting? A new Inspector Gadget animated series with anime-influenced animation similar to the original cartoon, a serial format with an ongoing story arc, and a recreation of the original intro with a new arrangement of Shuki Levy's IG theme.
