yeah, totally. I prefer the middle road. I will teach gospel to anyone who honestly doesn't know it, for the sake of education (and technically it's what jesus asked us to do as people) but I will never force my views down someone's throat, or judge them in light of their views. it means so little if you have to program it. it's kinda why the angels were jealous of humans. we have the choice to embrace or deny, where as they do not. heh I sense a tangent coming on I should stop before you think I'm some freak

I didn't know that about RDK, I've seen him post a bit but not much, heh... well I'll be on the lookout, lol lordy... racists are a bad seed in the garden of life, and should be stomped out of existence. Religious debates are pointless cause you'll never -actually- change someone's mind on what they believe, they really have to experience for themselves, and decide for themselves what they believe, and that's really the only right option. Which is why I don't commit to evangelical approaches, I will spread the good word if someone asks, but I don't go door to door bull****ing.

heh yeah, I see your point... I dunno, I originally applied to be a DH member b/c I didn't want to pollute other boards w/DH type discussions, but I can see that it's going to be difficult. There are a lot of highly opinionated people on SWF in general, I guess I am too, lol... but in the DH you're looking at some of the worst, and yet some of the best at the same time. It's too bad you gave up tho... I've seen you post, you're a smart cookie ^^

actually yes i do. we are in about a foot of snow right now, and its stil snowing! the roads are deadly though, so there are goods, and bads to the snow

That first part is nothing but johns. Notwithstanding the friends, experience, and fun times you can get from going to an offline tourney (or even hosting one yourself), all of that is all sorts of wrong.

If you don't want to be on here anymore, that's cool too. If you're on gchat, I'll get @ you on there. I still could talk about plenty aside from Smash, so that's cool for me.

You are really gonna have to point me to some of these idiots, bawwers, and trolls. So far, you have only pointed me to one, and even that wasn't really a good case.

I have to officially be the one to tell you that you're talking out you're a**.

First, if you have never even been to a Melee or Brawl tourney once in your life, that wouldn't give you much leverage to say what their mentality of the Smash community is. Since I've been to a few tourneys (and even hosted an offline one as well): Most smash players have this mentality: "Play to get better, with a desire to win." Not play to win (maybe except for M2K sometimes, & I say that with experience firsthand).

If WOW is easier, cool beans. However, that is no reason to say that those good in Smash have no lives! Homes, I joined the Smash community 5 years into my time @ Tech, with the frat and other obligations being no less than they have been the past several years. So, please don't say learning to play Smash makes you devoid of a life. It's what you make of your time. Don't say that your time prohibits you to learn how to play better, say that you choose to play WoW as opposed to playing Smash. That statement is a lot more honest.

NB If you have come to the site looking for something other than Smash, then you are doing it wrong. There are many vB sites that do Computers, Debating, Art, Drawing, Media, A&E better than this. None cover Smash as well as this one. Like it or not, Smash is what brought you to this site. Granted, it might not be the reason you stay, but if you don't even give it a chance, then you are truly just taking up space on the site.

The thing is with Melee, it's an offline game.

In order for you to be any good @ the game, you will have to eventually meet people, socialize, and play in high pressure environments in order to become respected.

For WOW, not so much...I am not saying WOW sucks, but if you were to see some of the people who played WOW stateside...you may have some 2nd thoguhts on continuing to play that game...
