I remember that when the Kamp Koral characters were revealed for Nick Kart 3, the NASB thread was really angry about it, and started making allegations of Nick putting them in just to promote the new show (which is apparently a bad thing now? I thought new shows getting advertised was what the Nick fandom wanted), and I mentioned that it's possible (not even likely) that someone on the team liked the show - and they said "well, that can't be true because I watched the show and it sucked!"
They seriously thought that someone liking a TV show was an unrealistic scenario.
Nuts & Bolts sucks! 90s Rare would've never made a sequel to a decade old game that redesigns the characters, changes the genre, introduces marque value gimmicks, and has meta-humour at the expense of the old gam- oh.

I've got my Corrin echo for EAC almost written up, and it's certainly a Penguin moment. Both in terms of being from a zoomer game and in terms of turning a character with a specific weapon into a NASB-style hammerspace warrior.
I feel like pretty much every zoomer has played a majority of the iconic 70s and 80s arcade games through corporate flash games.
If the Paper Mario Bowser's Castle portion was a solo Smash stage, it'd honestly be the worst in the series' history.
Mario clones pretty mid. Only two power-ups, no multiplayer, no steeds, the same boss character recycled every level, no run button, no world map, no secret levels, no auto-scroller levels - SMH, Mario didn't get where he is today with "cOmPlEx MoMeNtUm PhYsIcS". Stop putting all your eggs in one basket if you dare challenge the glory of hard-working Papa Miyamoto.
I just made up a Japanese pun character name for a post making fun of anti-localizers, but then realized that the pun still worked in English as a visual gag even if the name was left intact.

The whole Jimmy and Timmy in NASB stuff still confuses me - not their absence (Jimmy's is a little confusing, but I can certainly imagine a fair share of potential reasons), but the reaction to their absence - like, were people not paying attention to the state of Nickelodeon merchandise and crossovers at that point? And even if they were or have a reason not to be paying attention to those things, how is that a dealbreaker? "It's like if Smash didn't have Link!!" Even if we are to assume the -immies are the Link to SpongeBob's Mario (they're not, that's Lincoln currently), why would it be a big deal if Smash didn't have Link?
Seriously, it took Smash 4 games to add Little Mac and Duck Hunt, two of the most iconic characters Nintendo has ever created. 3 games to add Wario and Charizard too. Mewtwo of all characters got snubbed two times in a row. (well, more one and a half) One game to add Inkling, even with a more recent game included in the DLC cycle. 6 games to add Daisy.
We're submitting new moves and the Assist Trophy functions for Bowser Jr. and Duck Hunt - plus voting for their echoes and Jr's stage - all 3 are currently stuck in draws, including content from Mario Paint; Mario Kart; Pokemon; and Angry Birds! one vote could change the tides!

If I recall correctly part of the reason you don’t want Crash in Smash is because you’re worried the moveset would pull too many gimmicks from his games.
