I've been on a bit of a nostalgia binge for Animaniacs lately - and I've come to realise that this show shaped my humour and interests a lot - not in the sense that I gravitate towards media that has the same tone or humour as Animaniacs (though I certainly do to an extent), but rather that the pop culture and political references were so dated when I was watching the show that I had to look up everything myself and find reference lists on old GeoCities sites, so I tend to like antiquated media and jokes or ideas that require really specific contexts as a result
