now, if golf involved courses that moved the hole to within 10 feet of the tee for some people only, that'd be a good comparison on stages. or if they had fences that randomly move around the course.

and it's too bad you either seem to have opponents that heckle you or you can't joke with, which is what the second part seems to be saying.

I'm too lazy, but I can give you a run-down.

Comic 1. Replace golf hole with Tennis Court. Player 1 complains about air currents (beacause weather is random), spectators making noise and interfering with concentration, potential obstacles on the court. Demand they are removed. Players relocate into empty airtight warehouse.

Comic 2. Simply replace Golf Clubs with Tennis Rackets. Replace Trench with a Long Tube that the ball passes through to directly score a point.

Comic 3. Player 1 interrupts during Player 2's serve. Comic continues as before.

Still works, doesn't it?

Well, if you want to be totally literal, Dreamland 64 and Dreamland from Melee both had wind, and we were fine playing on them. Noise should never be an issue either, although in tennis games loud spectators are actually thrown out of the game. >_>

Also, the equivalent of a player 1 interrupting Player 2's serve would be like tossing the controller out of his hand.

Also, if a spectator randomly threw a bottle at a player, that wouldn't be fair, now would it? Same thing with items. A bomb randomly fell in front of my f-smash. That's totally fair...

Your comic is just full of lots of resentment over something you've never even tried to understand by participating in.
