It all started here, when @FEEHEELINGGS...Wo Wo Wo posted this;

After that, it was decreed by @FEEHEELINGGS...Wo Wo Wo that this hot dog could take down the entire Smash roster single-handedly. AndreaAC coined the term "volatile hotdog" for it, and followed this up with a statement calling for "VolatileHotdog4Smash", and MarioMeteor then determined that Volatile Hotdog's nemesis is Kirby's phone from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, which was later dubbed the Cell Phone of Destruction. I then observed that we needed to change the thread title because we've all been fools by supporting the wrong character all along, before welcoming everybody to "the Volatile Hotdog support thread".

Wanting to practise my drawing skills a bit, I later took to Free Paint in Pokemon Art Academy for the 3DS, and personified Volatile Hotdog having a face-off with Bandana Waddle Dee over who gets to be our ballot pick;

And a while later, a comeback was requested, so I had Volatile Hotdog battle his arch-nemesis, the Cell Phone of Destruction (I actually really like how you can see the improvement between these two drawings);

And that's the story of the Volatile Hotdog, complete with blame correctly apportioned credit correctly given to all of those responsible for it.

I will never forget such amazing story, xD I'm really glad to be blamed for it part of it!

My God, I cannot believe this is still a thing. Also, grammar, do you has it?
But very well. I shall catch you up to speed.

It started off with me waking up one day, no doubt to check the likes I had gotten on a clever post that I made. Only, I wasn't met with likes, I was met with posts concerning an explosive meaty confection resting cozily between two shaped slabs of baked yeast and flour. Naturally, my first thoughts were "The **** is this?!" Then I saw @FEEHEELINGGS...Wo Wo Wo hamming it up (pun totally not intended), making bogus claims such as this ballgame treat being able to fell the entire Smash roster! Being a loyal servant Her Jiggliness, I couldn't very well let this slide, and so I focused hard to find the one truly indestructible thing in the Kirby franchise: Kirby's cellphone (seriously, that thing goes through the worst **** without even so much as a scratch on it). This mighty cellular device went without a name for some time, before I received a vision from Lord Jigglypuff, entailing a title befit only for such a mighty object. Thus, the Cell Phone of Destruction was born! (I'm sure D1 loves this name). When Tortilla Noggin pitted these two unlikely powerhouses against each other, it was clear that the Volatile Hotdog was about to meat, I mean, meet his doom. And meat it he did.

And that, children and Chalo, is the Cell Phone of Destruction's origin story.

So anyone know who would make Bandana Dee's poster art and what it'd look like? I was thinking a parody of the Kirby Right Back at Ya poster drawn by Sakurai, Tiff is replaced by Ness, Tuff is replaced by Duck Hunt, Dedede is replaced by Bowser, Escargoon is replaced by Jr., and Meta Knight is replaced by Pit. And lastly, Kirby is replaced by Bandana Dee, but Kirby is right beside him in awe. With Dedede and MK of course. Any ideas you guys have?

I have yet to see the image but it's either Coo (animal friend, as we should know) or Tokkori, an anime original character.

I think my favourite thing about the dub has to be Rick's voice. I don't know why, but I really feel it works with him.

You mean the Australian accent, right? Yeah, I thought it was a good fit too. All the animal friends' voices were good in the dub.

I only wonder what the other three animal friends would've sounded like... Don't know why, but I can only imagine Nago's voice sounding Japanese.

No, I haven't, as I don't watch tournaments. I've played Melee (not very much, though) and he doesn't feel like a good character. Also, he is not very high in Melee's tier list.

The Melee Back Room seriously needs to update their tier list, it's outdated by a good two years and we've had many tournaments since then that show that certain matchups between characters have gotten better. aMSa's Yoshi shows that he's definitely a solid mid-to-high tier at best. People still call BS on Yoshi's current position of 18th on Melee's tier list and think he should be much higher.

I see. Well, I could accept Yoshi being nerfed somewhat, but not into Brawl state.

How that kid is 14 years old and won the biggest PM tournament of all-time using a character many didn't think much about is simply impressive. Props to him.
