Also, I know I screwed up a ton of times coming off of the ledge. Ignore that plz.
Very much enjoyed the music btw
:26 - You should probably have moved instead of staying there, I'll explain why later
:35 be careful fastfalling Uair, make sure you hit if you do it because the lag afterward is enough to be punished if you miss
:39 try not to stay in you shield more than you have to, especially against snake. Ganon has few options OoS that will be effective. (from :26) Your goal against snake is to get him in the air/offstage and go to work. His close range ***** yours, so make sure you space well
:45 Uair wasn't a good choice, actually, doing anything besides just landing or jumping away would have been a bad choice. landing lag + snake = no bueno
:46 you can SDI out of his Dair, just tap up and away from the way he's moving and you should get out
:50 don't forget about holding down when using your UpB to bypass the sweet spot and hitting with your fist.
:52 you know what you did, just practice your timing. Also be careful not to do it when he's at that iffy range. If you barely miss you'll be Utilted or predicted fsmashed bad, so be selective with your use of it. Your best choice would have probably been to jump back on to the platform and lose your RCO, then work from there.
:54 Using overb immediately after hitstun will result in you rising up in the air slightly, diverting some of the momentum you might have thought you had, making it end a little shorter than normal. i.e. don't do it unless you're more than close enough
:56 once again, that iffy range. Try just normal stand up in these situations
1:14 as soon as he hit his land mine you should have jumped to get rid of your RCO lag
1:33 don't use wizkick to approach, especially in that iffy zone again. Use it to punish ADs into the ground where a fsmash wouldn't reach or to punish landing lag on something. If you are good at predicting, run up to opponent -> predict roll back -> wizkick cancel off edge -> profit. thats just situational though
1:37 I'm sure by now you know that was not a good choice
1:42 just practice the timing, you're close to getting it
1:51 if you have the chance, after you upb on the ledge, try to overb. It has less RCO lag so its safer
2:12 aside from tech chasing, you shouldn't approach with side b. Fonz taught me this and it really made me live a lot longer.
2:27 be careful doing that, you were REALLY close to getting ****ed up.
End - lul fail
Basically, you played it well, there's only a few things you need to work on. Spacing is SUPER important with Ganon, and the lag on his moves is brutal if you miss. If someones close to that iffy range it's just better to not risk it. Good match though
