Yes you can, although I find lining up the arc to make it work kinda hard to line up.You can ledge cancel aerial hammer??
Kirby frame traps? I know that Kirby's dash-attack platform grab cancel can do that with heavy characters, but I'd like to hear more about these that you've found.I don't agree with most of the things I say about Kirby. It's because I'm getting the smash world ready for 20xx Kirby.
Also I took the air hammer into the lab. Maybe I'll make a video just on ledge canceling hammers. There's like different methods, but it's possible to get it into your neutral game. Also the dash attack into grab cancel, I kinda messed around with stages with very low platforms like Pokemon/FoD and figured out stuff I liked. I also issued some set ups to new secret Kirby technology that only my lab partners know about. Thanks to the 20xx hack pack, I've figured out hit boxes and frame traps regarding the ultimate kirby 20xx play style. It's literally unstoppable once you get those legendary set ups.
Even M2K isn't safe from Kirbies, Mango once took out his Ganondorf using Kirbs. And then later in the same ironman battle, M2K pulled his Kirby out of the hat and beat Mango's Mario AND Dr. Mario.Well, after a while without practice I played against M2K's Marth using Kirby. I took off a single stock. I can't even begin to describe how amazed I am. The Marth vs Kirby MU is so bad (IMO its 99-1 in Marth's favor) and yet somehow I took a stock off of the best Marth in the world, and I was out of practice. And I was thinking of abandoning Kirby...
When will you give up thinking that Marth is Kirby's worst matchup?Well, after a while without practice I played against M2K's Marth using Kirby. I took off a single stock. I'd even say Luigi's better against Kirby than Marth is.yo Triple R are you actually playing melee again?
Also marth kirby is not that bad. get out of here with that "99-1" bull**** lmao.
Fox tho...
Who said I stopped?yo Triple R are you actually playing melee again?
I forget, somebody said you were doneskis. I think VaNz said so, but it was awhile ago, so w/e.Who said I stopped?
That Rat actually does play Samus. The funny thing is, it's not the one you are referring to lol. I haven't played the IL Rat in forever. Is that Rat the samus player?
I think Kirby vs samus is impossible. What do you do there?
Speaking of Rat, I actually went Kirby for one match against his Fox a week or two ago. Scored two stocks, and lost. Maybe it would've been closer if I succeeded in Swallowcide-canceling that game; back to the practice lab for me.That Rat actually does play Samus. I just stick to basics in that matchup. Crouching and dtilt goes under missiles. Space things like normal. Samus never approaches from the air. If she did she would lose every time. She just uses a lot of tilts and jabs for spacing.
I wouldn't say to go a loooong way out for edgeguarding. I probably go a medium distance. I don't want a bomb trade to steal one of my jumps and not make it back.
As far as Gold Dart saying to use bthrow. I don't really huge advantage between uthrow or bthrow, unless you are by the ledge. As long as they aren't mashing out of throws, bthrow is fine.
I personally don't think that this MU is as simple as you make it sound. Kirby's D-tilt looses to her's, and it's difficult to simply out space her because of all the tools she has compared to Kirby.I just stick to basics in that matchup. I really wanted to go, but I couldn't.Yay! Videos! I'll have to watch them later today.
Now that I think about it I don't think I've asked yet, but are there any other Kirbys going to BH4? It'd be cool to play some friendlies even if it's only a few.
SD Melee rule number 1 is never travel anywhere, so you wont be seeing me thereYeah, I don't really expect to see any other Kirbys. To be fair this is actually my first national, and I don't really make it out to other big tournies. So I won't hold it against anyone if they aren't going to be there lol.
