-What was your first reaction when Sonic was announced in Brawl?

I was honestly overwhelmed with joy. I was so excited. Probably the biggest fanboy freak out I've ever had. A new Smash Bros. with Sonic? Holy ****. My life was complete. I think that's all I ever wanted in life when I realized back in 64 (lol) that Smash is the greatest game ever, with the only competition being Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles.

-Why did you pick Sonic as a main?

Because Sonic is the greatest mascot ever. Seriously. Just look at him. He's the colors of America. He's also one of the few anthropomorphic characters that actually look cool. There's just something about his character that's totally rad.

-If you were part of the Brawl team, what changes would you do to Sonic and to the other characters?

Give him a legit KO move or a guaranteed KO set up on every character.
Or just make him faster <3
Also, give Link an actual recovery. It's well deserved. C'mon...


-If you could add up to 5 characters into Brawl, what characters would you add?

I haven't given it too much thought, but I thought Crash Bandicoot and Klonoa would be pretty awesome. Klonoa is my second favorite mascot. Klonoa 2 for the PS2 is one of my all time favorite games.

Sonic, Scourge, and Knuckles.

-What are your 3 least favorite Sonic characters?

Chip, Silver, and the birds from Riders.

Ham! Yum.

I really don't play video games anymore besides Pokemon. My friends and I geek out over that. We can't wait 'till the Black and White release.

Nope. Smash is the only competitive game that interests me. It's by far the most unique and the most fun to play/watch. It's the most intuitive fighting game. It's like a platformer, but you kick people's ***. Not only that, it's all your favorite characters. That's always my problem with fighting games. I'm never passionate about it because I have no relation to the characters. With Smash, you can beat up Mario with Pikachu. When I was a kid, I thought that was the best idea ever. I still think it is. I play Pokemon with my friends now with the competitive ruleset, but I doubt I'll actually travel for that or anything.

I used to be huge into them. I got out of that lately. One Piece is still my favorite though (not that 4kids dub bull****). I watch the Japanese one with English subtitles. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing Luffy get really angry and beating the **** out of someone. Dragonball Z is still a favorite too, of course!

Why'd you stop playing?

Well, it's kind of a long story. First of all, it's not because I stopped having fun. I love this game. However, I started to get sick of wasting my money and weekends on a video game. Sure I got to hang with my crew and the community, but I was missing out on high school life. Now that I'm in my senior year, I think it's crucial to live it out to the fullest. Hanging out, partying, talking about life, staying up 'till 4 playing Pokemon with the dudes, gettin' with chicks, etc. All that fun stuff. Sure, I miss this community a lot. There were some great times. I met a lot of cool people and whenever I beat someone or ranked in my state, I felt accomplished. It was a really great feeling, but for the reasons mentioned before, I decided it was time to move on. The only way it would be worth it anymore was if I started making money by playing a new character, but I only want to play Sonic. That means losing money I could use towards something else.

What is your opinion on sonic dittos?

They're super lulzy if you play against other Sonic mains who know how to really abuse his lulziness. Even in tournament, I play dittos for the lulz. Ask Phoenix Dark <3

Do plan on going back to tournies soon?

I'd like to go to tournaments, but I talked about this in one of the previous questions. I'd really like to go to at least one more major tournament before I throw in the towel completely. I feel like if I could've stuck with this, I could've proved myself as one of the best Sonics. Which isn't delusional considering the progress I made in my career.

Falcon dittos.

Nah. The only player that I think really ever got screwed over is Lawz. That kid is ****ing nuts. Many top players can attest to that, including our own Malcolm. He used that garbage *** Link character and just was so ****ing good it was unbelievable. Only Link to take Ally to his last stock in tournament on a neutral stage and he still wasn't considered the top Link. Even though we retired, he's still the best Link. The level he got with that character was unbelievable. He's done more than that too. He accomplished a lot. I don't think it was until the end of his career where he finally was acknowledged as a top 3 Link.

I'm not religious, but my mom's side is super Christian so we celebrate it. My dad's side is very loosely religious, but they consider themselves Christian so we celebrate it as well. I think my dad is the only one to stand out and say he's not a Christian or any religion, but it doesn't matter to his family. Unlike my mom, who had a heart attack when I told her I wasn't.

Either way, I love Christmas. Out of all the religions, I think y'all just need to admit that Christmas is clearly the greatest holiday. I can't help it if America markets the **** out of it. Do what works. Those underlying Christian guidelines to society are pretty sneaky, huh?
