Anyway, aside from being a hungry zombie right now, I should advise of the developments here on my behalf. I will not be able to be hosting anyone at all, there was a chance, but when my dad got wind of it, it all went down the crapper. So, that sounds bad right? Well its not all bad.

Heres the upside. I know a few nearby places (hotels) that have reasonable prices and wont set you back more than you had expected to pay originally. Places more than likely have tvs, and I will have a car to shuttle you guys around. I'd be lodging with you ofcourse, for the duration of your stay, and we'd go everywhere. I'll drive no worries (flat tyres excluded). Not very far from the festivities either (smash).

I'll check out the local places soon and work something efficient out. If you have a phobia of living with 3 guys for a week, then you're a ***, sorry its not my house, but its the best i can offer.

I think thats all i wanted to say. Oh yeah, the Falcon Chant, right.. ^^

due to unforseen financial difficulties and the person who we had planned to stay with is unable to put us up. myself and my friend Kris will be unable to make @M. however the other person who was going to come with us will still be in melbourne and propbably willing to attend without us.

sorry about the pikeage but at present there too much stuff going on to make it. i really didnt want to be someone to do this but next Aussie Tourny we will be there in force.

shame i do feel as i was posivitive we would be attending.

So lets re-cap the perth situation: Due to lack of accomidation, all the perth people will now be spending the duration of their stay in a nearby hotel. Jon will find the cheapest hotel (with a TV, preferrably) and give us the details, then we can phone them and make a booking for 5 perthites and one melbournesider. Jon has also volunteered to shuttle us to and from important events (much appreciated) but unfortunantly 6 people will not be able to fit in one car ... unless it is a van or 4WD.

That is our current situation, and it looks very healthy. So jon, if you could, please get the contact details to us ASAP (or you could make the booking, we all trust you) and the prices to stay at the chosen hotel. Once that is all sorted, we will be able to buy tickets.

Tickets: Because everyone seems to be going everywhere, it will be a while untill everyone is in perth at the same time, mostly because of josh's trip. This is a problem that is easily solved. When we are all ready to buy tickets, josh, you may have to leave some money here with either myself or kenton, so when we go to buy the tickets we can pay for you. That is method 1. Method 2 involves all of us transferring the required amount into one bank account and paying in one go. This is the more complicated method, cos if everyone brings enough money for themselves (and the money for josh) we can all pay then and there.

It seems after christmas would be the ideal time to buy tickets, so we need to get into action now. Flight centre is the obvious choice, cos they could book the whole thing in a few minutes and we pay there .. all nice and easy.

Also, please be expectant (just in case) of a possible extra few $$ to stay. Dont want people to work a tight budget in case theres an unexpected extra $20 here or $30 there. You know what I mean. Have a reserve.

alright!!! everyone in the hotel!!! that boot idea sounds pretty good, but now that there is 7 people, and 1 car, 2 people would need to occupy the boot, or they could sit on the roof and hold on for dear life.

yeah, thats the problem i was concerned about, cos the closer it gets the more expensive the tickets become, especially if the flight is a popular one. If we buy the tickets after new years, it will have to be Jan 2nd or 3rd, cos we need to get it out of the way soon. Josh, that means you will have to leave some money behind so that we can pay for you.

Id like to add to that tiny tiny list if i may, as us three adelaiders would like to stay at the same hotel as the perth people, it would just make things a whole lot easier... and heaps more fun!!

Im not sure who else from outer town are going, but it would be much better if you could get all the outer-state people in one hotel, except the people already staying at melbourne peoples places of course.

And i know it might be hard to find a place with a TV, with AV conections, but please do try, im sure theres one somewhere, anywhere...

You know, the hotel idea is sounding great! If everyone just stays at the one hotel including the main melbourne guys, there would be no need for people to organise transport or w/e. That includes shaz, cella and captain jack. I'm sure with the amount of people that would be there, we would surely be able to get a nice discount from the hotel. But with the numbers, you'd have to book in advance and/or find a cheaper but similar alternative to a hotel.

You know how it is, they see a p-plater from interstate wanting a car for a week, all they know is that you'll (in most cases) just want to thrash the car and give it back a smoldering heap.
