Wacky Weekends is a ghost town, nearly no one is playing that mode.
I hate they force you to play event queue for some of the mission. It wouldn't be such a problem if FFA was core isntead of being replaced by random minigames

The thing that’s even more obnoxious about that is that some Wacky Weekend modes don’t allow you to rack up very much damage. So, after all the waiting to find a room, you might not even make much progress toward the missions, if any at all. FFA is at least guaranteed to net you a decent amount of damage.
I thought for a second you said that the mode outright removed damage, like everyone's at 0% all the time so you have to combo for all kills - and now I really want that as a side-mode in a platfighter. Would've gone hard in NASB1.

I kinda hate Wacky Weekends, and tbh I have since they added it. All of the ideas they have are really low effort or just aren't fun? Like restricting you to only one move or the stuff with splatting into walls and floors, I do not enjoy it. Conversely...

I really like this idea, and I think it would be a lot more interesting as a side mode, it would be a lot more interesting that four player break the targets.
When the game goes down, will it go into an offline mode where every character and cosmetic is available, or are you only limited to what you had before the shutdown?
If the former, just dump all the cut cosmetics in there and let us play with them.

It also said that your save file for offline mode will be locally on your computer instead of on their sever, so it’ll probably be relatively easy to modify it to give yourself everything.
Well I get that but it seems to me like they weren't planning on repeating themes for future seasons so... idk it should've been released during that season imo
I'm mostly sad that the unique voiceover for Mad Jack will be lost media now that PFG is no more, unless the one dude maintaining servers is all they need to update the game in like, a month from now at most

They did. Valentineon and Ugly Sweater themes came back. Even then, putting content on the backburner regardless if it's not a repeated theme is common practice.

The Bombshells Wonder Woman was easier to get than I thought. (I played through two sets of Arena matches, with one of them as a random character, with a lot of the experience coming from PvP or rifts)
I don't know if this makes a difference (since I'm not sure if Rifts will be available after the shutdown), but I'm almost done with the Fighters Road - I need about 1500 experience to get the last character (Marvin the Martian), so as long as I get to the end of the battlepass (or play enough Rogue Rifts), I'll get it.
It's a shame that this game wasn't given more of a chance to survive, though I suppose two separate launches and a heavy focus on monetization screwed it over. (on a related note, I'm surprised that Gleamium isn't more widely available as a result of the shutdown - there are a ton of costumes that are seemingly impossible to get now because there's basically no way to earn Gleamium)
EDIT: I got Marvin the Martian, so I'm all done the Fighters Road.
I haven't been playing lately. I think somewhere along the line I just lost all motivation to continue with it. I'm gonna miss out on the skins but whatever.
ALSO. Figured you guys would get a kick out of this. Remember the Sonic crossover skin drawings I did of some of the characters back when the Sonic/DC crossover was announced back in September?
I posted on my Bluesky account that I'd draw a full pic of Garnet as Rouge if I hit 500 followers by the end of February.
Just saw it today, and agreed, it's very good. Anyone interested should go check it out as soon as they can, it might not be in theaters for very long.

I haven’t seen it myself yet, but between WB being WB and them removing all the classic Looney Tunes from their own streaming service (because it doesn’t fit the vision of “Adult and Family” programming), something tells me time is short for it.
I should try and see it.

And like last time, got Mad Jack in my second looney run. What a bittersweet feeling.
Btw, even though i doubt they will ever patch his voicelines in due to PFG being shut down, if you have subtitles on they still are coded to play so you got that at least. (You can read them but the VO for Mad Jack is just regular jack)
I've had surprisingly good luck with the Rogue Rifts. I got Mad Jack this morning (I'd gotten around 85 of the treasure chests), and I've gotten all five of the skins from the five Rogue Rifts.
I'm not sure whether to save up my Prestige currency or not; I know there are some costumes in the game that aren't available (such as a Freddy vs. Jason costume for Jason or a Catwoman-like costume for Lola) but showed up as opponents in Rogue Rifts. I guess I'll wait until this Rogue Rift is done and see if anything else will be added to the Prestige store or not. (I'm guessing it won't, but I figure there's no harm in waiting)
Warner Bros. may now be looking to sell the entire Looney Tunes brand. Earlier this week, it was announced that Warner Bros. Discovery may finally be selling the distribution rights for Coyote vs. Acme to Ketchup Entertainment. The move comes after Warner Bros. decided to shelve the completed...

What the ****? I have a lot of thoughts about this and all of them completely confused.
Apparently before shutting down WB San Diego was working on a crossover Kart racing game with multiple WB franchise. I wonder if the roster and franchise would've been vastly different from Multiversus.

Yesterday, I mentioned a concept starting roster for what would be a "WB Rivals" hero shooter. However, after thinking about it throughout the day, I think it'd be more fun if such a game were a different genre. Hero shooter was a no go as was a platform fighter. At first, I was thinking a 3D fighter, but after some thought, I realized it would probably be healthier if it were a kart racing game. Would be similar to Mario Kart and Disney Speedstorm, but with WB characters, plus better monetization (seriously, the Speedstorm monetization made Multiversus look tame). With that, I created a 40-character roster of characters I wanted to see, some from Multiversus, others from Lego Dimensions, and a few from projects that got into neither. There were 3 rules I followed:
1. Only 2 reps per franchise to start. DC was an exception mostly because of the main DC trio (there is no way WB leaves them out of a WB crossover).
2. Try to include characters from a variety of projects without leaning too much into one specific area (so not leaning too much into CN or HBO).
3. Include at least one character from a super modern show/movie (the tie in rep basically, it is a WB game after all, so naturally they'd want to promote something. It's like how Disney Speedstorm added Inside Out characters to coincide with Inside Out 2)
With that, here is the roster I came up with:
Batman
Superman
Wonder Woman
The Joker
Bugs Bunny
Daffy Duck
Tom & Jerry
Scooby-Doo
The Wicked Witch of the West
Rick Sanchez
Jake The Dog
Samurai Jack
Steven Universe
Stripe
Agent Smith
Scorpion
Fred Flintstone
Betelguise
Aquaman
The Flash
Harley Quinn
Gandalf
Willy Wonka
Finn the Human
The Robot Chicken
Mojo Jojo (I wanted to include a Powerpuff Girls character, but I wasn't sure how to incorporate the main trio, so I stuck with the iconic villain)
Jason Voorhees
Freddy Krueger
Arya Stark
Daenerys Targaryen
Rachel Green (Friends)
Paul Atreides
Velma
Morty Smith
Austin Powers
Sam Spade (The Maltese Falcon)
Tony Soprano
Legolas
Professor Fate/Dastardly (Due to how Dastardly was inspired by Professor Fate, I chose to put both into the same slot. Both are interchangeable)
Andronicus Dependent “Andy” Smith (Invincible Fight Girl) (Obligatory new film/show rep)
Looking back, there are characters I feel could be changed out for others; however, I feel the first 9 on the list would be in should a project like this come to fruition. Thoughts?
