You know, I would not say the Subspace adventure mode was a mistake, but it did take a lot of development time, and while maybe it did not affect Brawl’s multiplayer by that much, multiplayer is one of Smash’s biggest strengths. I would say that if there’s a new adventure mode in Smash 6, it should not take up a lot of development time for the game. I would prefer something like Melee’s adventure mode.

By the way, have a Subspace-like Adventure mode and do Everyone is Here 2 and imagine how much development time that would take up! LOL

I think NASB2's campaign mode should be used as the basis for the next Adventure Mode. They already tried roguelike mechanics before with Crazy Orders in Smash for Wii U but here they'll be able to do much more with the idea.

I’m currently considering whether or not the next Smash game should prioritize new remixes and remastered arrangements of remixes from Melee and Brawl. What do you guys think?
New remixes for sure. I'm not sure there are any songs from Melee and Brawl I feel need new remixes. Those songs have aged incredibly well and I'm not sure any really need it..... Except maybe the god awful 02 remix

Also, I'd like a song from Majora's Mask that ISN'T Termina Field

I think Yamamura from Mario Maker would be a plausible character for Smash 6. Representing a relatively new Nintendo series and he could have a really fun moves.
I'd personally prefer Mary O. and Yamamura as a "duo", but I'd be happy to see Yamamura show up in some capacity. That said I don't know if I'd necessarily say they represent a new series. I get what you mean in that it's a newer Mario spin-off but in the context of Smash (and Nintendo as a whole) that's not really a new series so much as it is an extension/additional branch under the Mario umbrella.

Wario Land 4 is coming to NSO as the perfect Valentine's Day present:

Nonono. HURRY UP!
Man, Wario has inspired games that follow his origin games. Even Warioware series inspired an indie game based off microgames concept.

Which is your preferred method of unlocking characters in Smash? Through single-player modes or certain numbers of VS matches?
Of those 2? The single player mode.

But Vs. mode shouldn't need unlocks at all. Single player unlocks should just be for the single player mode.

DarthEnderX, for example, seems to be perfectly happy with World of Light in Ultimate so the single player is probably fine for him already.
I'm fine with it being all events. But I think their could be more variety in the types of events. Add some races. Or target smashes. Instead of everything just being a deathmatch.

I'd love to see Rayquaza and Duon again. Galleom shouldn't have all the fun.
Galleom should not have come back at all. That spot should have gone to an actual video game Boss.

If nothing else, I’d at least like for Smash Run to come back with an expanded map, the ability to set the time, and the ability to choose your final battle like in Kirby Air Ride.
With a Battle Royale mode.

64 players teleport in. Players run around killing creeps and collecting upgrades. Map shrinks over time. Last 4 surviving players have a Smash match.

If it's there, neat, if it's not, I don't really care. That's probably why I'm just like "Yeah WoL was okay" and "Yeah Subspace was okay" lol
That's probably one of the reasons I like WoL. It's good enough. Without being resource intensive.

Which means more resouces for the thing most folks actually care about, the Fighters.

Just give me the trophies back...
No thanks. Just give me back their text blurbs for Spirits.

What if the big story mode is sold separately as DLC down the line for like $30? Would anyone here buy a standalone story DLC for that price if it was good?
I'd wait for reviews before buying.

At that rate, the game would be in development hell.
Or just, ya know, require more people.

Wouldn’t You Like To Know?
One series I'm really hoping gets a boss next time is Metroid. Mother Brain not having a fight at any point in the series aside from the assist is kind of criminal imo and they could go for the classic brain in a tank or the monstrosity in Super's finale.

I kinda would rather Dark Samus come back as a boss rather than an echo. New phazon blasts, clone splitting, levitation. It's hard to imagine her getting a full overhaul next game as full fledged character, but I'd also love to see her with a health bar.

If Raven Beak doesn't make it onto the roster (please I'm begging) I'd totally settle for a boss fight mimicking going through Dread's climax. Maybe even with a showdown with the Kraid X fusion at the end.
