Anyone want to team with me for Mango Juice? Also, is there a tentative schedule for the carpool? I should probably request time off work earlier than the day we leave.

IMPORTANT

A ****load of seats are open for the Flatzone carpool. I deleted everyone who isn't super confirmed, which is everyone but me, Silent Wolf, and Cazcom. If you want to go, GO. There are 4 maybe 5 seats open. I will give certain people priority over certain others. Here is a link to the blog with the appropriate information.

If you want to go at all, just clear your schedule and GO. This will be the biggest Canadian tournament EVER, featuring HUGE skill from all over Canada and the US Midwest. Recording, raffles, free food, free drink, amazing housing, amazing FUN. LETS DO THIS.

Edit: Never mind decided to not be lazy and read the AIB post. I'm gonna try and see if I can make both but I doubt it.

fox is the shiznit.
teach me how to play fox, all i do is nair jab and shine, but it doesn't work half the time. I think i use too much shine, and not enough lasers or grabs. wow good job me.

I play melee a ton, but vulcan barely ever plays with me, so i beat up on computers. My fox has gotten really technical since sylers tourney. And yeah, I probably drill more than I nair actually, but i guess my problem comes in finding good approaches with him, but i assume that'll come with time from actually playing people.

EDIT:
Kaos, I showed my friend shadowclaw and now he wants to play Melee with mewtwo. He's never really played it much, just brawl, and i can teach him basics, but you'll have to give me mewtwo advice at the tourney, k?

Tell him not to start with mewtwo >___>

Show him Happy Feet 3 and get him to start with Falco LOL

<_< No seriously, starting with Mewtwo is probably a good way to develop bad habits. "You need a good high tier to play a good low tier" - Chu Dat (paraphrased)

Seriously Koas has some terrible habits which he kept from m2 play, start with a top tier and then find a character you really like.

He plays link too, but the only reason he'll play melee is because of mewtwo. otherwise he'd rather play brawl. D:

Vish, are u serious. I thought we played melee for fun. What a tourney ***. Im not joking either.

@Grunt-tell your friend to play whatever character he likes. If he has fun with the character then he should play him because melee is about having fun. Just make sure that he is actually geared towards getting better tho. After awhile he'll learn the limitations of m2 compared to other characters and he might pickup a better one.

I dont play m2 or marth because they are good or bad. I play them because I like good wavedashes as primary movement, and being able to get dairs off, whether it be way out over the pit or comboing into it. Also I personally think that marth, m2, Falco, and C.falcon are the tightest characters in the game and would like to play those 4 because I have the most fun with them.

But yea im more than willing to teach him m2
