Well, I've certainly been had. Ha ha, I guess you're right, then. The fat samurai with sunglasses does indeed have a chance. The reason she's in, though, is to promote Galaxy and SM3DW. But that's all I have left.

So, I just got the news that one of my loved ones isn't expected to make it through the night. And I'm stuck here, 5 states up the East coast waiting to know how soon I need to get on a plane. But in the meantime, I drank a little more than I probably should have (which really is nothing, I never drink, therefore I've got absolutely no tolerance.) and I've decided to spend the fleeting moments of consciousness with you guys! Wow, my spelling is amazingly well done considering how smashed I am. Hah. Smash. Good times. ANYHOO.....

I've been working on this lately. Perhaps you like the format or think this is how the selection screen might turn out. I think it looks pretty sweet. My few random guesses aside, what do you guys think? Also, FILL IN THE BLANKS IF THAT TICKLES YOU ANY!

And have you considered bubble suits? They're shock absorbent so maybe you won't die on impact.

Not really. From my understanding, Black Shadow's fairly popular in Japan, and giving Ganondorf a new moveset could definitely happen, so having Black Shadow take his old moveset wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

Now, this is based on a lot of ifs, but so is most speculation.

well here are some good reasons or at least I think they are good
requested a good amount in Japan
is a good way to get more girls to try out smash (I've met girls who tried out smash only because Kirby is cute)
a weapon that isn't a sword or gun can be cool

Well, F-Zero is underrepped so I think Sakurai will look to those franchises. He's been with Smash since the beginning and F-Zero is a major franchise. Plus Sakurai pays a lot of tribute to F-Zero and likes to add additions to franchise that haven't had any since their debut in Smash.

If we just shut off the rest of Nintendo's cast because "Oh, I don't think Wii Fit Trainer's gonna get in. Gotta make room for Bowser Jr and Issac."

We're gonna end up disappointed. It's important to keep and open mind and not be a recency/request nut.
