I can't talk for Saturn, but I too considered putting Tabuu on my roster. I'd say a SSB original could work pretty well, and with four games (or five, if you consider 3DS/U seperate games) already it's not that much of a stretch. Tabuu has shown a wide variety of moves - which, if toned down, may work in a Smash FFA environment as well.

I also made a new roster, by the way:

Any thoughts?
Dillon simply must go. He'll be no more than an Assist Trophy just like Starfy and Issac were. Pac-Man and Mii I have doubts about, but they are still plausible. And Chrom...eh I just don't know about that. Besides that it is a very good roster.

I thought about it, and I have no idea what you are talking about.

I don't see any naked men made out of cyber cells with mystical weaponry designs or butterfly wings that look like that. But, I suppose that's not as original as a ****ing glove and gorilla with a tie.
He is unoriginal in an original way? I don't know, I would honestly rather Pac-Man in terms of aesthetics. I am not really denying that they could do some interesting stuff with him. I just don't really think is design is interesting. I mean... bald guy with tribal butterfly wings? Meh.

Thanks. It's so nice to have a unique and original addition to my roster that isn't hated and laughed at. Also why can't you talk to me? Are you unable to quote?
A lot of picks are hated and laughed at, but mostly because people flock behind fan favorites and consider everything else laughable. Honestly, three of the four newcomers would've been laughed at by the majority of people here. I'd say people should pick characters that are a little different more.

I can't talk FOR you, that's something different. I'm not you, so I can only guess what you think, which is what I tried to say.

That's 53 characters,49 if you exclude multi-party characters.
Try again ;) 47 characters, 51 if you include multi-characters.

Dillon simply must go.

You wouldn't get it. Some gamers like bizarre and mysterious characters. Especially Zelda fans. And what does Pac-Man have to do with anything?

Question. What actually is Tabuu?
I haven't beat Subspace Emmisary since I was about 9 or 10, and I didn't understand anything about Tabuu besides the fact that he was the leader of the two hands, and was behind the Subspace Invasion the whole time.
Is there actually nothing more to him, or was I just being a normal 9 year old? :p

In my opnion Master Hand is better than Tabuu. He was in the franchise since the beginning.

He is the most boring and unappealing character that I could think for a relevant comparison pertaining to their aesthetics. You are correct, I wouldn't understand why someone would prefer Tabuu over any other plausible choice. I really can't.

I get the whole Smash isn't represented in Smash notion (fallacious as it may be). I get his move-set potential. I just don't get the "want" aspect.

Lol. Just saiyan. It's strange to expect Dillon in the game and not Issac in Brawl or this one.:p
Dillon I consider to be the representative of the eShop - part of Nintendo's future, as opposed to simply a random character.
Like how the Ice Climbers were added to represent the NES.

GUYS! I just thought of the best way to represent the Smash Bros franchise!

Ok, so you take the game.....
and give it play style similar to that of the Super Smash Bros. games.

I know this is very unlikely and is pretty risky, but I have a guy feeling it may just work!

Wouldn't most characters represent the eShop? I mean, I don't see why Dillion would most accurately represent the eShop. Is he the only person on the eShop or something?

TABUU Get's Revenge! (and is also too big) :troll:

So yeah this is my new roster! Tabuu is the new addition and you MAY think it's weird, but I've been considering the possibility of a Smash Brothers character for a while and I think Tabuu is the perfect surprising and unique character. I have a gut feeling that Tabuu will be playable in the game and it's the perfect role for him after his defeat and demise in Brawl now that he is out of a job in the series. I see nothing negative coming from Tabuu. Besides, Super Smash Brothers itself is a popular Nintendo franchise with it's own unique characters and I feel Tabuu is very deserving. And it's the fourth installment so it's fair to expect some different things to happen.

Most of you may not want a Smash Original character, but keep in mind I'm predicting characters not making a wishlist. So I don't care. :shades:

@ Autumn ♫ Autumn ♫ : I do sincerely apologize for the removal of Vaati. :urg:
I'm more intrigued by the inclusion of Tabuu. Not sure what to think of this.

Firstly; Dillon. Not Dillion. Not sure why everyone keeps putting that extra i in there. You're not the first to do it, and you won't be the last.

Dillon's probably the most popular eshop exclusive character though, which is why he usually gets pegged for that niche. Pushmo might be as popular actually, but Dillon has a more appealing design.

So,what? You want the Sonic Obsessed Fans to have their own Sega Smash Bros?

I think by representing the EShop, he means representing the EShop only classics nintendo makes that are pretty successful.
For example, Dillon's Rolling Western, Harmoknight, Pushmo, and games like that.

Personally, Id choose Mallo from Pushmo, though Id have no idea what he would do.

Sorry I wasn't really clear on that part; I put him on there to represent the eShop - he's not the representative (Mallo from Pushmo could work as well, for example), but I personally find Dillon the most interesting from the bunch.

I see no reason to represent the eShop with a character. A stage would make more sense.
I don't really know why I want the eShop to be represented; I guess I just feel like it's a new direction Nintendo is taking: they have a platform on which they can launch 'smaller' games now and I want to celebrate that, I guess.

eShop has no popular characters. So pick the least unpopular character.
Opinions: the post.

I am honestly not sure, I think it was a typing error more than anything. I know how to spell Dillon, or at least I thought I did! :awesome:

Mallo, Tempo, and Dillon are all popular among Nintendo fans.

Don't use casuals as a defense, because casuals don't even connect to the internet and use the eShop because the over-protective parents deem it "too risky and dangerous" to connect to the internet.

I want Dillon for the sake of having a freaking armadillo coyboy in Smash 4. Depending on the release window, I would be surprised to not see him in some capacity.

I don't think Tempo would make it, because he is from a one-game series from a second party developer.
That would take some legal work I feel.

I actually think people would find it cool to have a final character to unlock after everyone else. Maybe by completing Classic Mode with all other characters. Then the shillouette of Tabuu shows up and you're like "whoa! Who is that?" Then the bad ass Tabuu theme plays on Final Destination and you're like "HOLY ****, BRO! YOU CAN PLAY AS THAT ONE GUY!?"

Um... casual defense is more for Pokemon/Mario/Link. The obscure Nintendo characters are NOT loved by casuals. That is the hardcore crowd. I mean, I am a casual Nintendo fan, I assure you... I have never heard of Mallo or Tempo. The only reason I know Dillon is because YouTube recognizes his potential. :awesome:

I didn't know you were a casual!
I would automatically hate you and assume you are stupid, but the fact that you are practically an overall genius in every other category makes up for that.

Aww, why no Vaati Saturn? I thought we had something special going on.
Nah not really. I just wanted the cookie in his pocket. :troll:

But, if Zelda gets does get a fifth (which is somewhat likely) I definitely think it will be him.
(Also Emperor's New Groove is the best!!!)
