A Distant Demon
Finale
NopeI am most likely the only person wishing for SSB Switch not to come any time soon
I am hoping for a full on sequel and not any kind of port, so if the game comes out later that increases my chance dramatically

Or just make it an online feature as well. Both are applicable.I wonder if anyone else has gotten down that the Nintendo Switch can potentially utilize the Smash Run game mode. However, the only problem is that you would need multiple Nintendo Switch sets to do multiplayer matches.
I mean, that's kind of a non-issue. We know the Switch is capable of that since we saw it in the presentation with Splatoon 2.I wonder if anyone else has gotten down that the Nintendo Switch can potentially utilize the Smash Run game mode. The system itself costs around $300 though, so getting four for a 4-player Smash Run would be very costly.I mean, that's kind of a non-issue. We know the Switch is capable of that since we saw it in the presentation with Splatoon 2.
But that wouldn't be a factor against putting Smash Run in the port. Price wouldn't be something the devs would think about. The system itself costs around $300 though, so getting four for a 4-player Smash Run would be very costly.
what kind of reasoning is thisRemove s from Smash, please. It's allowing people to recreate people they ain't supposed to. Besides, all of us wanted our dream characters to be in smash 4, not some crude-*** likenesses in s. Sorry if that came off as harsh but it just ain't the same.
If I had to guess, I'd say bias.what kind of reasoning is this
Honestly, i can't see Nintendo cutting the Mii fighters off a future Smash title's roster. It already feels like a tradition to have them in.The MK8 Deluxe character roster demoed was lacking Miis, granted that may not be a final build, but could the Switch as a whole be doing away with Miis? Miiverse isn't going to be on the Switch, or at least I think I heard that. So, I see potential of them being cut, but that'd be a shame and a waste if you ask me.
Nope, we know they still exist. The MK8 Deluxe character roster demoed was lacking Miis, granted that may not be a final build, but could the Switch as a whole be doing away with Miis?
Well that's a relief. So yeah, no real reason to think they'd be cut then.Nope, we know they still exist.
For a port, yeah.In all honestly, it's too early for any Arms character to join Smash.
A trophy or AT on the other hand would be nice.

While I wouldn't say six, the series could manage two or even three without wearing out its welcome if the newcomers in question were chosen well. An RPG franchise with a rotating cast and 800-plus characters gives us more to work with than any other series, and many of said characters learn a long list of moves and pull from elements that are rare to nonexistent on the current roster. Not to say they have to, say, add a Grass type or a Rock or Ground type to plug those gaps in plant- and earth-based powers, but what it does mean is that characters who specialize in those powers would be that much more unique because those niches are wide open. Not to mention six of them were Pokemon newcomers. Which we really don't need. We really, REALLY, don't need.
Personally, as far as the Earth-based niche is concerned, I'd rather have Isaac. Not to say they have to, say, add a Grass type or a Rock or Ground type to plug those gaps in plant- and earth-based powers, but what it does mean is that characters who specialize in those powers would be that much more unique because those niches are wide open.
I kinda have to agree that getting a newcomer from ARMS as soon as Smash 5 is a bit of a stretch.
Oh hell yes!Sorry for double post, but I should also point out that if we're getting a 7th generation Pokemon in Smash, it can only be one:
I'd actually be okay wit him this. I picked Litten in Sun, so BRING ON THE HEAT!!!!!Sorry for double post, but I should also point out that if we're getting a 7th generation Pokemon in Smash, it can only be one:
So Spring Man confirmed?
I'd have to say no. Hardly any of the 7th generation Pokemon are who I would consider to be viable for the playable status. They could get the Poke Ball treatment though.Sorry for double post, but I should also point out that if we're getting a 7th generation Pokemon in Smash, it can only be one:
Yes, well, Smash 4 has taught me that no one really knows anything about what they are wanting to do. I just personally think he'd fit in incredibly well, since he is literally built to be a fighter. And well, I love Litten's line, so I have bias, which is even better than evidence.I'd have to say no. Hardly any of the 7th generation Pokemon are who I would consider to be viable for the playable status. They could get the Poke Ball treatment though.
Also, remember that the 3rd and 5th generations don't have any playable representatives.
Decidueye is also among my favorites, so I'd also enjoy that addition as well. Spirit Shackles could be a shot that goes out and then turns back around and then traps the opponent into one spot for a duration based on % (and they can still use inputs, as in they can still "battle" but not "flee").I'm still rooting for Decidueye for Smash.
I've always wanted a full archer character instead of having Link or Pit fire an arrow for all of one move. Add in that it's a Pokémon, and a Ghost-type owl, at that, and I love the concept even more.
It's just a shame so many are quick to call "bandwagon" on it. At least it has something actually interesting about it...Sceptile didn't have anything like that, in my eyes. Just another speedy rush down character. But an archer based move set is something Smash hasn't seen yet.
I definitely remember Spring Man being in my dream...so yes. Maybe. So Spring Man confirmed?
