ya I agree , I wouldn't say sonics moveset would change too dramatically. but one thing is for sure, the knockback values on some of his moves need to be changed. (by which I mean to be higher~)Sonic's coming back, but I think he wont be as different as people think hes going to be. Side-B or Down-B might be replaced with something but everything else, moveset wise, will stay the same.
Where. Where. Where. WHERE?! :DCONFIRMED.
Man, these character reveals are coming thick and fast.
Nintendo Direct confirmed itWhere. Where. Where. WHERE?! :D
(Here's to hoping to see Ice Climbers someday soon)
Couldn't have said it better myself.Welcome back, pal.
Glad Sonic is in! I wonder if his move-set will change at all. I didn't like that his side special and down special were quite similar, not the same but similar. And now Mega Man has a move with Rush like his up special, so who knows.
They should give him a boost move (heck sonic heroes music was used, and that's when it was first introduce), but I think it showed both moves in the video, or did I see wrong?
The spring also doesn't leave Sonic completely helpless, as he can still use his standard aerials after using the move. They could change his Up B to the Rocket Color power, but then again... It could hamper his ability to cancel out of his Up B... Still, the Spring never did wrong in Brawl or in Project M; it was always a great escape move.
You're already in one. When do the steak threads start?

I like that myself actually. It feels like he's actually part of the group rather then singled out as a "guest". It was the only argument people who doubted (or hoped he wouldn't come back) Sonic had.this throws a curveball my expectations. I predicted Sonic and Snak would return, but I didn't imagine Sonic's confirmation would be like this. It seems so... casual. Like it's any other character.
Oh, I don't have a problem with it at all. It just feels so odd because Sonic's announcement for Brawl felt so huge, at least in comparison. Now, he's just like any character (which, again, is not bad by any means).I like that myself actually. It feels like he's actually part of the group rather then singled out as a "guest". It was the only argument people who doubted (or hoped he wouldn't come back) Sonic had.
Just knowing Sonic's now an official Smash Bros. veteran makes me smile.
this is definitely a highlight now that I think about it. some of video games' biggest names, finally duking it out. it's a novelty, I guess, but it's a nice feeling to put advanced techniques, moveset changes, and update discussion aside and say "MARIO AND SONIC AND MEGAMAN ARE KILLING EACH OTHER AND ITS AWESOME"SONIC, MARIO & MEGAMAN UNDER ONE ROOF???!!!!!!
