i think it's probably too late to go to apex very cheaply. all the free housing is gone i'm sure, entry fee is 60 bucks, i dont think that includes everything...i dunno, i would like to go to apex but i just dont think its do-able. i like apex better than mlg though, because they let you play friendlies whenever, which is nice. they have about 50 setups i think. if we go to mlg i think we should skip raleigh and go to dc. they're porbably the same distance.

your brawl-bq should move to a weekday or something now that you dont have to work.

Yeah I would love to go to Apex but it will be really expensive and it's soooooo far away. Same for MLG Raleigh. I'd like to go to a tournament in New York or Cali sometime though, it would be fun.

I agree. I'm willing to go to Apex/Raleigh if other people are (I'd even drive maybe) but I think the expenses would be pretty great, and housing might be hard to get at this point. But I'm willing if others are too.

If it's between Raleigh and DC, I say DC would be better.

Also. Are you guys still interested in the Dallas for the champioships?

Yeah, I don't currently have enough money to go to anything too far away. I do still want to go to Dallas.

Double Post! So....I think me and Jordan might wanna go to Raleigh and if I use my credentials (Flashing Hylian around like a trophy to the smashers in NC) we can prolly sneak some kind of free housing.

Just putting it out there.

I'd carpool with you guys to APEX. I can drive too.

My car gets 30 miles per gallon and holds 5 people (including myself). I don't know what to do about housing. I have a tent?

I'm an hour away from New Brunswick NJ and I can accommodate 4-5 free housing for St louisians only.

but I have no car so tough lol

i will go if we get more than three people on board (so far it would be me zoze and tmacc)

also we can probabaly do brawlbq on a weekday sometime but usually there are other people here na mean? thats why i was gonna do it this sat casue my mawm is out of town

anyone thinking about going has to consider this (applys to todd also)

-3 day event. starts on friday and ends on sunday. that means we have to be there thursday night and if we are going we are def staying until singles ends which will be sunday evening or later probably. that means we'll be gone for like 5 days at least. its a 17 hour drive. thats without stops. so it will literally take ALL DAY to drive one way.

-312897372918732 dollars. thats how much this will cost. there is a 35 venue fee, singles 15, doubles is 10. thats 60 dollars D= or 50 if you are just doing singles. that plus gas plus food and this is going to cost at least a billion dollars.

-it will be mad fun.

I will love you forever :D just fyi though we would be there like 3-4 days lol

so fino said he will carpool with us if we help him with gas to stl (four way split would be 15 dollars each and thats in addition to what we would pay for the actual trip), which according to THE GREAT FINO would be about 40 dollars each.

if thats da truth then I am willing to do et. we would need to get there thursday night so we would need to leave.... wednesday night or earlier lol.

but if zoze/tmacc you guys are coming then you need to CONFIRM because fino was planning on flying and if we cancel he needs to book a flight

also on housingg fino said he is staying at vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv's hotel room but he will house with us for thursday night and then *** back to us on sunday :D

fino says he doesn't want to leave until thursday.

the laaaaaatest we could possibly leave is 2pm thursday we would drive all night D: and get there around 12 on friday DD::D:D:D:D:

I've been great MMM. I had my daughter back in March, and working full-time. It's amazing. :)

I've been thinking about coming back to StL to hang out with you guys, so this might be the perfect time to.

no free housing = me not going. i just dont have that kind of money. sorry cool cats. i'd really like to go but i cant spend more than whatever my next paycheck will be, and it wont be 400 - 500 bucks.

edit: HOWEVER, i know that ninjalink and jash (come name search this thread and confirm that this is what you did!!) got 'free' hotel rooms at mlg by talking to some smashers and asking if they could just sleep in their hotel rooms for free. i think we could probably get away with that, considering that you've got the great -me- and that david drunk is hilarious and would be a good selling point as well.

actually, i think ninjalink and jash stayed in corey/tmacc/kyle's room...so as long as we sleep on the floor and not the guys' beds that we're staying with, it hsouldn't be a huge problem. however this would be KINDA risky, as in...what if we coudlnt find anyone to stay with. i'm 99% sure we could...but...ya know.

Yea, Jash and Ninjalink definately crashed in our hotel. I think Kyle (the person who paid initially for the room to whom we paid back) was a little upset with it...

I have one idea...my mom can sometimes get free hotels through work...maybe I can talk to her about it and see what she says. I'm not for sure going yet, still trying to figure put if I can take off enough days to go, but I'm working on it.

Also, are you SURE we can't get free housing with anyone? We have to know a couple people up there...
