So does the netplay actually feel better with the patch?
No, worse.
At least for 360.
I'm having a harder time connecting to player matches now, and ranked matches take FOREVER (like 30 minutes between matches at least...)
and my average connection speed seems to have gone down too...

I haven't had much of an issue with the 360's online. Connectivity hasn't changed much, but every match that I've connected to has been either Platinum or Ragna.

80% Platinum : 20% Ragna.

With Hazama? Against Arakune, abuse your 214D-B. You can lead it into a Hungry Coils if Arakune is trying to approach you from the air or get a crossup in. It can also help you to avoid the insects due to it's startup frames being so boss.

Good Rachels and Tagers are ffffff for me too.

Word I'll try that out, but yea I usually lose to good people who use these characters. Rachels are not as bad, but TAGERS

good tagers are ****ing gay man

Mu-12 is such a fun match-up for me.

Dunno who I'm gonna hate in CS2 when it patches here... and maybe I just gotta actually play tihs game to be good at it before I can rightfully pass judgment on a character I don't like fighting.

I just purchased a 360 BlazBlue Fightstick from Amazon. TOTALLY worth it now that I'll just be able to play on either 360 or PS3 when that comes in.
Um, you're probably going to have to mod that, right?

No offense, dude, but you are probably being really unsafe in the Hazama vs. Tager matchup. Because Hazama is super safe. His damage is from meh to great, but his strongest point is how safe he is. Tager can pretty much do nothing to stop you if you chill fullscreen. And there's no point in rushing down Tager at all, not even in a "I'm being funny!" kind of way. Any wrong guess results in eating unnecessary damage (but that goes for everyone vs. Tager). Why would you do that when you could be at the opposite end of the screen, hitting D and smiling?

Respect his spark bolt meter, and save a burst. Get a life lead and run away.

PSN keeps coming and going because it's getting Sakurai'd from everyone logging on at once to change their passwords. Try going during a low-traffic time.

☯ Played some matches in CS2, finally found someone playing Platinum... and got *****. Maybe it's because I'm not use to the newest patch. XD

☯ I'll get Platinum soon, as she is going to be my main with Rachel.

I'd like to try Platinum. Just to see what she's like.

And I'm finally starting to get the hang of CS2 Mu. She's so different from CS1 and a little more difficult, but she's a lot more fun to play. Dem Tsurugi corner combos are pretty sexy.

So far, mu doesn't seem like as much fun. :(
thinking about dropping her, but i'm gonna keep with her for a little bit longer and see if i find anything that makes me want to keep playing her.

She's definitely harder imo.

She lost a lot of midscreen damage (but so did a lot of characters), it's much harder to get hitconfirms, and by extension, harder to get good damage. She has to rely on counterhits a lot, it seems like or very short combos, at least midscreen. Her zoning is better, at least.

She feels a lot more rewarding though.

It's more that it seems like they toned down her oki game (a lot), and that was my favorite thing about her.
I loved when i got my opponent in knockdown in cs1 with mu because it was like opening the gates of hell on them.
now in cs2 after i get a knockdown i'm just like "Woo, i gotta get in again..."
unless i'm in the corner, and since mu is a zoner she's ... not really supposed to be a corner carry character.
How am i supposed to get my opponent into the corner when i'm turtling/running away for the majority of the match?

Her whole design just seems flawed, to me now...

I don't think i worded this correctly at all but hopefully you still get what i'm trying to say in my incoherent rambling. :/

Hey PS3 users! You should have CS2 now, if you boot up your console. :3c

No Platinum yet because no store, but still!

Spelt, I understand what you mean. I think she's a little less autopilot, I guess. I can't just throw out 5D > 6D > 236D, and tick throw like a ho anymore. I feel like you really have to think about what you're doing when you're playing her. She's definitely weird though, but I still feel like you can rushdown effectively, if you need to. I don't know what to think about her oki yet, since all I've been playing against is Jin (get *****) or Hazama (lol no oki for you!), so I can't confirm or deny.

They've definitely changed her though.

Ha, I've seen this. And now I raise you this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RCVcOLXUr8

Something viable!

Best blockstrings/mixups/pressure tactics with Platinum go.

I can combo like a mother****er, but not really sure what to do when they block.

See what kind of opponent you have by simply doing [2A/5A] x N 5B 2B 6B 66 [2A/5A] x N strings, or something like that, to keep them honest. After the little damage combos stack up, because they got CH while trying to mash, they'll finally decide to just sit still and BLOCK WITHOUT MASHING. That's when your other mixup, TK Swallow Moon/j.D fan/etc., can start working.

I didn't expect challenge mode to go into Tao's j.8D~A loop and an AB2 combo. This is going to be really helpful.

I'll probably be up for it more towards the weekend. Like Thursday, Friday, etc night. I've got 2 days of college placement left before my real summer break. I'm bummed you can't d.5C > j.D anymore, though.
