I was going to post a suggestion, but I can never remember how I hold my stick until I'm actually holding it.

Actually Werekill, now that I think about it, maybe you should go with Arakune. You did better with him, so he might be a better choice.
Anyone have any tips for a good method of gripping a joystick? (no **** puns intended) I'm having a hellish time trying to get used to my arcade stick. I can't QCB worth a ****, and Half-circles are godawful. I can only seem to consistently pull off 623's. or 236's. I can't do anything backwards, basically.

I hold it the way it's shown in number 2. I find it easier that way.

Just got the game. Mad-hyped to get good at this. Thanks for the link, Minato. When I go through learning combos better and whatnot as I switch from CT to CS (gonna do me some story mode first!), we should play.

Anyone's free to add me if they're up for some BlazBlue some time. ShatteredSound.

I'm going to make a list of Star Wars references in BBCS story mode.

Here's what I got so far.

1.
Ragna: What's that?
Jubei: The 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

2.
Hazama: (to Noel) Strike me down with all your hatred!

More coming.

Just played my first Mu tonight. It was a close match, but he squeaked me in the end. She's got some really neat stuff.

I have one from Rachel's joke ending. (****IN' HILARIOUS, BTW)

Bang: "WHAT DID YOU SAAAAY?!"
Kokonoe: "Did you hear that? It sounded like as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."

So I've played over 100 ranked and player matches, and I still haven't faced another Litchi. I must say I'm surprised, they weren't this rare even in CT.

A lot of people probably don't have the game yet, though. And it's not like Litchi's a popular character either.

I've been practicing my Hakumen combos, and I keep forgetting that they changed Guren's notation. I must re-learn muscle memory now. T_T

Played 4 ranked matches total and still haven't lost yet. Been really close to losing each time though. My hardest match was against a Tsubaki. Both rounds I won by time out in that match. It's not like I meant to lol.

The 4 I faced were Bang, Hakumen, Tsubaki and Carl. Pretty diverse so far.

I haven't played too many ranked matches since I want to finish story mode.
That and because I just do player matches with friends.

I played a good amount of Hazama's online but only lost to one.... close game though. I haven't played anyone that's gay in this game yet, and of course I'm using Rachel only online currently. =3

OMFG ITS SO TRUE KOKONOE Talking with ragna saying his move was FRKIN LOL
I DIED lmao, so hilarious. When it came up I was like, "Why are there X's.......LMAO."

Noel's reaction was too priceless.

On a related note, I love Noel's personality. She's such a great character. She sucks and I hate her gameplay-wise, but storywise I loves her. :3

Edit: Bahaha, Tager's joke ending is lolworthy. GIGANTIC TAGER INDEED.

GGs. I'd say use Lambda so you can try to play more consistently than worrying about getting an opponent to be curse with Arakune. Lambda has low health, so I don't know if that's a deterrent for you or not. But yeah, I would say use of those two and experiment with them with combos in Challenge or looking them up on Dustloop.
Actually Werekill, now that I think about it, maybe you should go with Arakune. You did better with him, so he might be a better choice.

Yeah, I really like both of them, so I'll probably just play both.

I'll also eventually actually learn how to play Noel instead of constantly spamming her drive. XD

I don't have any of the joke endings yet because I'm doing the normal endings first to unlock dat ***. It's probably my favorite story from any fighting game, though, so I don't mind playing for hours.

I also like the fact that it's basically a VN with a few fights in it.

By the way, are all of true endings canonical? I'm guessing that everything leading up to them is non-canonical due to the continuum shift, but the endings seem to fit together.

Tao's joke ending is also excellent. Loved that Valkenhayn got involved. xD Also, Tsubaki apparently has a fetish for period films. O.o

I also can't believe that Tao groped Tsubaki in her REGULAR ending. God**** I love BlazBlue's story.

I've been working on a new art mod for an old stick. I just ordered new buttons and balltop to match.

So exciting! :3c
If it was from Lizardlick, I'm rather disappointed that you forgot about combining shipping. Otherwise, nifty. You should order with Simon and I when you complete it.

Oh my GOD, Rachel's joke ending was beyond hilarious.
It was. Tsubaki's joke ending was extremely funny too. It looks like Litchi is a liquid lesbian.

Man All I fight are Jins, Noels, and like 4 Lambda's <_> so hard for Hazama and Ragna.
Against Lambda you just gotta get in that *** and stay there from the get go. If you can stay in Lambda has few options (that I know of at least) to get back out. It's very important that you get your timing for your combos down tight so she can't block out, but that goes for everyone. Lambda's health is so low that just one or two good long combos from you should kill her.

For Ice Car spamming Jins, just instant block and punish. For good Jins, just try to avoid their ice tricks and punish their mistakes. I main Lambda so I usually zone Jins, but if you're using Ragna it'll be more difficult. I guess Hazama could zone her though, if by zone you mean "run around".

Nice sig btw. :)

I've found there's a lot of Lambda online. It's weird how popular she is, considering she's not as easy to play as Nu.
Maybe it's BECAUSE she's not as easy to play as Nu and people like the challenge.

I'm not one of those people though. I want my 5DD 4DD 236D back dammit.

I did quite a bit of ranked matches tonight. I still haven't faced a Hazama, Lambda, and Taokaka yet. I almost won this one match against a Bang, but the player pulled some BS at the end of the two rounds I lost.

I'm still doing pretty well with my Rachel though. I'm trying to avoid time outs, but it's hard to stay on the offensive the whole time while worrying about new character changes during the match.

Oops, I did forget. But I might still get you to order me a clear dustwasher, because I totally forgot to do that. I'm not sure if Simon is replacing any buttons though.

Lucky you, a good 40% of the matches I've played have been against Hazama. Some are good, most are not. I've faced every character now, except for another Litchi.

That dog is awesome. :(
It could be a little quieter though.

They are all canon from what I can tell.

It's kind of like CT's story, only it's not a time loop this time but more along the lines of alternate possibilities. The concept of the alternate possibilities shows up a bit in Litchi's, Arakune's and Hazama's stories, and is kind of important to the true end, so those should help you understand it better.

Good luck with the mod, Lythium! I'm probably going to order my buttons this week.

Ok, cool. Most of the endings seem like they lead to a very interesting story for Blazblue : Another Subtitle Goes Here.

I've never played CT so I have no idea about the time loops (I thought that was what the continuum shift is), but thanks for explaining it, lol.

Thanks! :3c

This is what I have for the art, and I've ordered a blue balltop, and orange buttons. I already have some blue buttons left over from the last mod.
