I'd be okay with it if they actually gave her something good. So what if they made her j.4D faster? She has practically no combos off of it. It only works as an ambiguous cross-up. Sometimes. :ohwell:
Am I missing something here? I'm pretty sure you can j.4D, A -> profit!

Anyway, I'm curious as to what they're going to do to Mu.

And if I pick up Tao again I don't have to learn taunt loops! Yay!

But is there really any point to practicing anything when I know I'm just going to play Platinum when she comes out?

So if Makoto's parry canceling gone, does that mean the loop's gone? I'm not complaining provided that she gets stuff to compensate and improve her in general.

I need to play CS again, but I'm not in the mood as of late, and this is giving me further reason to just play Super. Valkenhayn looks fun though.

You guys suck for letting stupid mechanical changes alter your character choices.
Real Rachels stuck with her through her garbage CS days.
Real Tsubakis picked her up after they bought their first copy of CS.
Real Taos will stay Tao regardless of no taunt loop shenanigans.
Tagers will just Tager harder.

I played Tsubaki when CS first came out. Hence, why I said: "playing Tsubaki again." She's fun, despite her suckiness. The only reason I didn't play her that much is because my boyfriend played/subbed her for a long time. He switched subs, so now she's fair game again. It just happened to coincide with loc-test changes. And now her 5D will be priy gud.

Deal with it.

I'd rather not.
I'd rather ***** about how you dropped her at all. That wouldn't have stopped me.
lol.

In non-trolling-related material, uh...
I got nothin'.

>implying theres any merit to sticking to a character over the changes and being called a Real XXX player

A competitive player plays to win, kinda hard to do that when your character sucks ***.

Not that I'm saying I've ever dropped my main, Arakune4lyfe and all, but it's not really "dishonorable" to see someone switch mains in light of the former becoming a worse character.

I think Arakune looks interesting. :3c

His learning curve might be a little high for me, but I'm still curious about playing him a bit.

@Scamp: is that 5A or 6A? I think I'll go experiment now. :3c
It's 5A but I just tested it and 6A works too.

So you can do j.4D, d5A, d6A, d6C, 214A, 2B, 6C(1hit), jc j.D...I forget the rest.

And of course you can do normal block-confirm drive mixups after 6A and 6C.

My problem is that I simply don't like playing most of the characters. Not enough to learn all the matchups inside and out, anyway. No one in Blazblue plays like May from Guilty Gear. Tao comes the closest, and I really wanted to like playing her, but I usually end up just jumping around like an idiot. Gonna try Hakumen next.

I take that back. I like Mu. I should play more Mu.

How anyone manages to will themselves to continue to play someone as dull as Hakumen is beyond me.

Same, I had that problem too. Coming from GG, I was looking for someone that played similar to Dizzy. I chose Rachel when they first revealed her art since I liked her design. When the game was released, I found out that her play style was the closest to Dizzy as it was going to get in Calamity Trigger. Luckily the character that appealed to me first also had a playstyle I really liked so it all worked out on my end.

I can't use any other characters in BB. Tsubaki and Ragna are my secondaries but I can't play with them that well at all. I have their BnBs down, but I suck with everything else.

I confess to having the same problem too, just swap May and Dizzy with Millia and Faust in mine. Yeah, I like playing Noel and I'm probably going to stick to her to some degree no matter how bad she gets nerfed, but...even then, I still need to have one or two viable characters to play as and as much as I like Ragna and Litchi, they just don't 'feel' the same in terms of naturalness yet.

I haven't been able to play much because of school, band, and shooting competitions, but I hope to change tht soon. XD

Nerfing Noel's 5D?

Eff that.

Might be time to dust off that Tsubaki.
I know. :(

At this point, I'm glad that I picked up Rachel a bit; she's pretty fun and definitely secondary material.

Maybe things will be changed for the better after they test things out a bit.

Edit: what the hell? B silencer has shorter range and C silencer has a longer recovery time. x_x

Potemkin's a *****.
Tager's on an entirely different level. You can't even compare them.

Hakumen is so boring to play against.
They just run away from me, like every other coward.

I gotta admit though, I dig Hakumen's speech.

Well, whenever I'm Tager, they do the same as the Hazamas.
I get free spark bolt charges out of it, but still.

I totally agree haha.
I'm gonna' take a stab that you play Tager?

Oh yeah, screw CT Arakune.
The match up is still hard in CS, especially with Tager, but I can actually SEE his stuff now. It's more tolerable.
