I just wish my paintball skillz on how fast I can shoot would transfer into my ability to hit the tornado... I mean I can shoot 26 balls per sec but I can get the maximum distance Om~Ja!

Well, as stated in the begining you need to do a start up tornado first on the ground. AFTER you should be able to do it BUUT I beleive you need to be able to spam the "B" button like 13 times to get the full distance I do it about 8 to 9 times which is my fastest giving me I think, half or 2/3 of the full distance, it isnt the full distance but its good stall time. Seriously though you just gotta get some REALLY quick god thumbs in order to do it. Hope this helped.I try to do Luigi's tornado a bunch of times but it has never work for me. I am pretty positive that I am doing it right, the only reason I see why it might work is that I am not tapping B fast enough. I tried my absolute hardest to tap it as many times as possible and he just wont work. Can someone clarify.
either he ledge hoped straight into it or he ledge hoped waveland into it. i know thats what i did to get that kinda animation out of it when i mained luigi. whether or not thats what he did is a mystery to me but thats my guessdoes any know how ROFL downb out of the ledge
yes this is true trying it on a lower speed helps you get the feel for it and how fast you can go. however to get the full rising tornado youd better be prepaired to do it when you go for it cause a few things can happen.ok, just read runicwings post... that's basically what i was thinking. if you are having trouble with the rising tornado, try it in training on a slower speed. makes it much easier.
It's rough, but it is a great skill to have. If you can't do it near perfect, you should probably find another character to play (assuming you're trying to get good). Luigi really needs the vertical recovery from the tornado to be able to live long.
Yes also when you do the d-air it says METEOR SMASH in the bonus thingDuke, Luigi's D-air does not spike. It's a meteor smash. I'm tired of everyone thinking it spikes. Go d-air a computer off the edge and WATCH how fast they meteor cancel it.
Sounds like he wants to give players who can't do it false hope.^ that post makes no sense haha
doing rising cyclone has nothing to do with reaction, and everything to do with how fast you press the button, so I don't see how playing in lightning melee helps anything
you must first do this move on the ground to be able to do a rising tornado. If Luigi was able to do a rising tornado every time then he would be able to have an infinite return that is why every OTHER tornado is a rising tornado.
