That’d be an actually decent idea. But they couldn’t milk the IP for all it’s worth with that, so they won’t do it.

Playing it rn, the load times for battles werent that bad for me, at least and i havent seen many frame issues either but thats just me
It's crazy how Generations is straight up a 9/10 (can reasonably argue for a 10/10) game up until Planet Wisp and Time Eater **** it away.
I feel like it was a little better this time on the remaster, but I also might have just gotten lucky.
Planet Wisp eventually grew on me, though I still think it did not need to be the longest level in the game.
Which is crazy because Planet Wisp is really good in Colors. They made it way too gimmicky.
Eh it's not the length that's the issue. I just don't think Planet Wisp is as thoughtfully designed as the other stages. It starts off excellent but the building site part falls off a cliff because it really pushes the wisps in an inelegant way and Spikes is just not fun to use with Classic Sonic. Rocket is largely fine though.
Modern Sonic Planet Wisp is fine for the most part, just a bit of a drop off. Classic Sonic's Planet Wisp is where a lot of the umbrage is and I think it just comes to a head there because all the modern era Classic Sonic stages have parts that are annoying but Spikes being unfun combined with the length of the stage is egregious.
The 3DS version had a kickass soundtrack too, the best songs from Gens was from that version.
I really like 3DS Generations. I wish they had added its levels to the remaster in like… a little bonus area.
this alone makes the entirety of Sonic Boom peak (even the games were worth this moment in time)7 years ago Sonic Forces came out

I don't quite agree with that but it is goddamn criminal that we got that absolutely amazing Big Arm remix you'll never fully hear because the fight lasts a mere 30 seconds
That first chapter/episode can be a lot for some people and I totally get that but holy **** Dandadan is so much fun and filled with a lot of heart, I feel like it's become an instant classic and the English dub is also excellent, AJ Beckles as Okarun, Abby Trot as Momo, Kari Wahlgren as Seiko and Barbara Goodson as Turbo Granny? Holy **** their performances are great. We also got Lisa Reimond for Aira and I believe Aleks Le for Jiji later on and I'm real looking forward to that, I'm glad you're having fun
I'm watching sub for now but it's nice to hear that the dub is quality. Definitely wouldn't mind re-watching it in English at some point.
