Hopefully they do Daredevil more justice in that than they did in She-Hulk and Echo.

Neither of which did him badly tbh. She-Hulk showed that Daredevil isn’t always a serious character (that and he’s the biggest **** in the Marvel universe) while Echo showed that even with half the universe wiped out he is not a man to **** with.

Disney knew if they made it PG-13 there would have been backlash.

Also the MCU Blade has been dropped indefinitely and honestly for the better as I had no faith in that.

Idk ya'll, I think we know better than to think that R-rated=great movie.

Look how that worked out for Hellboy: people on old circles of mine used to claim that the Del Toro movies were softer than the source material, and yet to this day both are still better than the so called "mature" reboots.

Also, if you handle the age rating properly, you can get away with quite some stuff. The Batman for example was PG 13 in various places and showed tons of heavy themes. And Transformers One/Rise Of The TMNT The Movie are family movies and yet have some visually strong scenes.

And of course, we have the classic example of Wind Waker having a very well-thought out story even with its artstyle.

^Hellboy was never that graphic or bloody in the comics. That's the thing. So it didn't work for the 2019 film.

Nor has Batman for that matter. Gritty and dark in the comics but no over the top gore.

Deadpool has always been like that.

Introducing new side characters soo late into a show's life is rarely a good move. I can't think of a lot of animated adult shows that have pulled it off well.

Nah, even in an unserious show like She-Hulk, he was done dirty, sure he showed up Jen in the court case scene (though that scene felt less like Matt being smarter and more Jen being incompetent at her job with not looking into her client going against the instructions on his hero gear), but after that he just falls for Jen despite her doing nothing worth falling for, immediately props her up after losing to him in court, she upstages him as She-Hulk despite him being a trained hero and her skipping out on her training, and seemed desperate to reveal his identity to everyone around him, like when the two were rambling legal nonsense during fight scenes, making one of the bad guys correct guess he’s a lawyer. Their chemistry is formed in one episode and just comes out of nowhere because the writers wanted them to hook up. Doesn’t help he was constantly teased in the trailers but doesn’t appear until the penultimate episode.

And while Daredevil wasn’t too bad in Echo, that show did Kingpin dirty. He feels way more weak and gullible and puts himself in too many vulnerable positions. He spends so much time begging to Echo and trying to win back her approval despite her shooting him point blank in the face. Also it bugs me the man will learn Japanese and Mandarin to understand his enemies but not ASL for someone he considers his daughter?!

Tbf a lot of people quickly fall for Jen due to her appearance and attitude, so Matt falling to his continuous urges suits it well. In addition, Matt isn’t someone who wouldn’t be nice enough to showcase kindness when required. Also they’re horny and heroes, sparks be flying real quick for most flings and one nighters. Aunt Bae and Happy for example, or Bruce and Natasha (as well as too many questions relationships the comics have had). As for the teases, we all knew he wouldn’t have a massive impact on the show. It, alongside NWM and Echo, were helping with implementing that side of the MCU into the bigger picture.

Now Kingpin being too caring yet kinda lazy? Ok sure that was odd, but most won’t look back upon it since he’s gonna be a beast in Born Again.

Our pixel art teacher just challenged us to find out where specific Yoshi sprites originate from. Two guys in my class used AI and I could tell at a single glance that the answers they gave were wrong.
