Don't take everything so serious :nifty:
Honestly this post is indicative of why Mario vs. Sonic matchups always end in a victory for Mario's universe (at least after they stopped counting the Archie stuff). Mario never takes itself seriously and Sonic is kind of a mix of light hearted and serious/edgy. It's like having Goku fight Bugs Bunny, they work on different rule sets.

Maybe, but still. I don't think Mario is that cartoony, as much as Bugs Bunny is, anyway. Still, I thought of some advantages Sonic may have over Mario, and Mario and Sonic are not Bowser and Eggman respectively, and the heroes don't have armies. I mean, without armies, as well as other factors, I'd say Sonic may have more of a chance than Eggman had with Bowser.

Thing?

I understand why you'd hate Infinite, but why call him a thing? (Not a thing as in something relevant) :p
IDK no particular reason. I just thought it might be funny.

Now HERE'S a Death Battle idea: a smattering of Super Sentai/Power Rangers summoned villains vs the Akumatized villains from Miraculous Ladybug

Infinite is cool and full of missed potential. Would be really cool if he could come back in like... the IDW comics or something so he can be fleshed out more.
Iirc Sega explicitly forbid them from using Infinite in the comics.

The Zeti are a-ok, in fact Sonic Team even told IDW they could make new Zeti if they wanted to (an offer they thankfully declined) but Infinite? Off limits.

It's like they don't want him to be a better character or something :198:

Yeah, you really recalled correctly. I read that kind of thing myself as well.

They also once said that the classic and modern stuff could not be in the same universe, but now that’s different and we got the Scrapnik Island Arc. SEGA can change their mind.

Also got a while they were being insistent that Sonic lived on another planet but they stopped that nonsense recently too. So… maybe eventually we’ll see infinite again.

When it comes to making new Zeti, I always stick to my theory of there being six different Zeti breeds (one for each member of the D6), but I also REALLY love some of the original designs D6 fans out there make for their Zeti characters.

I'm glad Sega and Sonic Team is at least willing to try to make better use of the D6, buuuut they still haven't quite hit the right marks, so their bad reputation has persisted.

Sega, hire me, I could change EVERYTHING /lh

I think the big hangup for me is, I grew up on Mario, so I'm super used to how Mario 'feels' in terms of platforming.

I'm not one of those people who'll make an hour long video essay about "How Super Mario 64 revolutionized gaming thanks to its controls" but I'm soo used to the more snappy feeling I guess.

Had this cool idea of a MonsterVerse Kong game.

Plays similar to the God of War games. Set between The New Empire and upcoming sixth MonsterVerse film. Kong deciding to go on various trials to further prove his worthiness as new king of his kind.

You play as Kong as he traverses and navigates the hollow earth, exploring different kind of areas and fighting enemies like skullcrawlers, wartdogs, warbats and drownvipers.

Suko could play similar to Atreus where he aids Kong, Shimo could be summoned by Kong anytime as an option using her to travel riding her.

In other words. Kong of War. :p

Twitter casually starting a war between the royal women of Mario (mainly sinful hate crimes towards the legend Daisy) while Bluesky loves all 4 equally

good thing the beautiful Bowser gang ain’t suffering

Mario's a bit more engaging in terms of platforming but Sonic goes fast and does cool stuff that makes my brain go brrrrr

I've only really played some of the older Sonic games and Unleashed...Which I've admittedly never finished. Plus, I own Mania. I don't plan on playing that until I beat Sonic 3, though.

Are Colors and Generations worth getting? Those seem to be the most unanimously praised of the "modern" 3D Sonic games. And all I know about Frontiers is that it's generally considered much better than Forces.

Colors is simple, but it’s a solid platforming game and a great time. It’s probably the most “Nintendo” feeling Sonic game. Even more than Lost World, which was blatantly trying to rip off Mario Galaxy.

Sonic Generations is just amazing. The only real gripes with the game is that the final boss sucks, and that there’s not more of it to play. Thankfully that last issue’s been fixed with the addition of Shadow Generations, which is also radical. There’s really never been a better time to get into Sonic Generations.

ngl I thought that the final boss was gonna be easier (or at least feel better) than the 3DS version of the boss fight…but that **** made no sense. Made me go to YouTube to actually understand what I was supposed to do.

tho on the Shadow part, he feels easier to use than both Sonics despite both using the same control scheme

There 'are' parts of Sword I like, I'll give credit if nothing else.

Music's great.

I do like a lot of the designs(Mr. Fish go brrrrrrrrr)

It actually had a ****ing Battle Tower unlike Scar/Vio

The characters in the DLC were fun, mainly Mustard and Peony.

But I have soo many cons it's hard to overlook them.
