Thing?Regardless of who won (y'all know what Sonic villains I care about most), I'm glad Infinite got Thwomped, I hate that thing.
Honestly this post is indicative of why Mario vs. Sonic matchups always end in a victory for Mario's universe (at least after they stopped counting the Archie stuff). Mario never takes itself seriously and Sonic is kind of a mix of light hearted and serious/edgy. It's like having Goku fight Bugs Bunny, they work on different rule sets.
Maybe, but still. I don't think Mario is that cartoony, as much as Bugs Bunny is, anyway. Still, I thought of some advantages Sonic may have over Mario, and Mario and Sonic are not Bowser and Eggman respectively, and the heroes don't have armies. I mean, without armies, as well as other factors, I'd say Sonic may have more of a chance than Eggman had with Bowser.Honestly this post is indicative of why Mario vs. Sonic matchups always end in a victory for Mario's universe (at least after they stopped counting the Archie stuff). Infinite is cool and full of missed potential. Would be really cool if he could come back in like... the IDW comics or something so he can be fleshed out more.Regardless of who won (y'all know what Sonic villains I care about most), I'm glad Infinite got Thwomped, I hate that thing.
IDK no particular reason. I just thought it might be funny.Thing?
I understand why you'd hate Infinite, but why call him a thing? (Not a thing as in something relevant)
Iirc Sega explicitly forbid them from using Infinite in the comics.Infinite is cool and full of missed potential. Would be really cool if he could come back in like... the IDW comics or something so he can be fleshed out more.
Yeah, you really recalled correctly. I read that kind of thing myself as well.Iirc Sega explicitly forbid them from using Infinite in the comics.
The Zeti are a-ok, in fact Sonic Team even told IDW they could make new Zeti if they wanted to (an offer they thankfully declined) but Infinite? Off limits.
It's like they don't want him to be a better character or something
threepeat imminentFunny enough, that was the second time Infinite died to a thromp. This was his first.....
Sega and the Sonic Team probably tryna act like he never happenedIirc Sega explicitly forbid them from using Infinite in the comics.

They also once said that the classic and modern stuff could not be in the same universe, but now that’s different and we got the Scrapnik Island Arc. SEGA can change their mind.Iirc Sega explicitly forbid them from using Infinite in the comics.

Infinitely missed potential, am I right?!
(Disclaimer: I've never played a Sonic game for more than 5 minutes)
I tried to get into Adventure 2 after hearing about how it was a GOAT game for soo many years way back when an old friend used to bring his Gamecube over to play games on.You’re missing out
When it comes to making new Zeti, I always stick to my theory of there being six different Zeti breeds (one for each member of the D6), but I also REALLY love some of the original designs D6 fans out there make for their Zeti characters.Iirc Sega explicitly forbid them from using Infinite in the comics.

No the **** he isn’tYou’re missing out
Mario's a bit more engaging in terms of platforming but Sonic goes fast and does cool stuff that makes my brain go brrrrrI think the big hangup for me is, I grew up on Mario, so I'm super used to how Mario 'feels' in terms of platforming.
I'm not one of those people who'll make an hour long video essay about "How Super Mario 64 revolutionized gaming thanks to its controls" but I'm soo used to the more snappy feeling I guess.
I got sucked into this vortex because of Sonic Dash. Honestly, I regret nothing. No the **** he isn’t
I say this as a Sonic fan: Stay. Away.
It’s not good for your health
He suffers enough playing Pokemon. You’re missing out

Colors is simple, but it’s a solid platforming game and a great time. It’s probably the most “Nintendo” feeling Sonic game. Even more than Lost World, which was blatantly trying to rip off Mario Galaxy.I've only really played some of the older Sonic games and Unleashed...Which I've admittedly never finished. Plus, I own Mania. I don't plan on playing that until I beat Sonic 3, though.
Are Colors and Generations worth getting? Those seem to be the most unanimously praised of the "modern" 3D Sonic games. And all I know about Frontiers is that it's generally considered much better than Forces.
ngl I thought that the final boss was gonna be easier (or at least feel better) than the 3DS version of the boss fight…but that **** made no sense. Made me go to YouTube to actually understand what I was supposed to do.Colors is simple, but it’s a solid platforming game and a great time. It’s probably the most “Nintendo” feeling Sonic game. Sonic Generations is just amazing. The only real gripes with the game is that the final boss sucks, and that there’s not more of it to play. Thankfully that last issue’s been fixed with the addition of Shadow Generations, which is also radical. There’s really never been a better time to get into Sonic Generations.
Clearly, this just means that even more people should play Pokemon. He suffers enough playing Pokemon.
Can't tell if this is a House of the Dead reference or if my brain's just completely rottedSuffer like Shroob did?
