Anyway, the VGA stuff is bound to lead to some more ads, what stuff are you hoping gets announced? I'm mostly curious if any DLC characters for Tekken or SF6 or maybe a reveal for City of the Wolves would be shown off. But who knows. If we're extra lucky, maybe something Mega Man or Metroid related.

I could see a Mai Shiranui gameplay reveal happening for Street Fighter 6 at the VGAs and maybe a new DLC character reveal for Tekken 8 too.

This might be considered a hot take nowadays but I still think Sonic Adventure is a good game.

It's just so cozy feeling and the levels are peak 3D Sonic imo. Yeah, fishing is kinda boring (although it's still worth it for Big) and the game is full of jank, but I think it still holds up relatively well.

This might be considered a hot take nowadays but I still think Sonic Adventure is a good game.

It's just so cozy feeling and the levels are peak 3D Sonic imo. Yeah, fishing is kinda boring (although it's still worth it for Big) and the game is full of jank, but I think it still holds up relatively well.

It's good but it also could be better. I feel like later 3D Sonic games do a better job of keeping you on gravity defying twists without falling and moving straight without veering side to side and have generally better level design. But it's still fun and I still replay the levels a lot.

Also the voice acting is actually competent in later games. And you don't have to beat the entire game multiple times just to fight the final boss.

Also this is just a nitpick but I really wish I could roll into a ball on slopes like in the 2D games. I never have this reflex when I play boost era games, but every time I play the two adventure games I expect pressing crouch on a slope to make me roll into a ball, like how if you crouch on slopes with speed in the 2D games you roll into a ball. And that's just not there and I don't know why.

eventually they're gonna reboot the Simpsons and the only thing that will be different is the entire voice cast is different because they've all either retired or died. And maybe a continuity reset.
