Alright, I finally finished Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. Thoughts under spoiler.

Overall, pretty fun season!

I wasn't expecting too much from the story after King-ohger and yeah, the stakes were lower but the later half had some unexpected twists. I wasn't expecting a children's show to put such a firm stance against governmental corruption.

Some stuff in the final episode could be more impactful with better build-up but the final roll-call was still super hype. I'm mostly a bit bummed that we never got to see the Big Bang Grand Prix. I was half-expecting the final lap to be dedicated to it.

The best part of the season for me was the characters. Jou and Mira are among my all-time faves, Sakito and Genba were unexpectedly cool and everyone had their time to shine, even if some of them could use more character development. Taiya was somewhat boring to me, though. I liked him but it felt like he was already perfect from the start and there wasn't any room for him to grow or change.

Sanseaters were hilarious all the way through.

I think I'd be harsher on this season if it didn't came in a year when I could really use a lighthearted sentai like this. It was a consistent thing that I looked forward to every week and I'll miss it just because of this.

Anyway, I thought I'd check some of the previous seasons but maybe I'll wait until Gozyuger. I'm not sure if I liked it so far but it's certainly unique.

Made a new game in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX. The starter is Bulbasaur named Victor and his partner is Squirtle named Benji. Already got two of Bulbasaur's bets moves in Energy Ball and Sludge Bomb. Hoping I get Ice Beam or Blizzard for Squirtle soon so he can trounce the flying bosses.

Crazy how this is looking way better than Captain. America( and sad that Marvel is fumbling that story) :
Did the Sentry used the Void? Other than that, the Thunderbolts* is looking pretty good and with the writers of Netflix's The Beef involved, I think this film could possibly be a surprise.

CircoLoco Records, a partnership between CircoLoco and Rockstar, just tweeted this

No GTA fans, this doesn't mean the GTA 6 trailer is releasing on February 14th.

...all of them?

I wouldn't complain about never seeing another free-to-play mobile game ad again, but...ALL of them?
Yes. All of them. At least until capitalism falls. When the ultimate goal of any game isn't to drain people's wallets dry, then they can start giving them away for free again. Because there won't be incentive to monetize the player's impatience or autism anymore.

It's interesting that I'm capable of making a "reasonably sized" roster for a revamp of Multiversus but when I try to do it for just Cartoon Network in a Punch Time Explosion follow up the roster blows up beyond control.

It’s a shame that the free to play game has fallen into a money trap when some free games of yesteryear were complete games with optional DLC.

Take Doritos Crash Course, a free game from 2010. While there is extra level DLC, it is not needed to play and the rest of the game is free of all charges (the game itself is also still available).

I keep meaning to check it out, I happened to borrow the Wii game as a kid cause I wanted to learn more about this dude after hearing about the Ben 10 crossover but I never get around to it
unfortunately the only way to legally watch it is to buy all the episodes on itune (and i'm not sure they're even still there. I bought them when I was a kid), so if you wanna check it out, you should probably sail the seven seas.

Just cleared Turtle Rock and am nearly done with my playthrough of A Link to the Past. All I have left in Ganon's Tower.

The game does test my patience from time to time but all in all I'd say it's been a really satisfying experience. I'd much rather a game be challenging but a little bit frustrating at times then easy and boring. The puzzles are (usually) satisfying and the combat is really fun.

I think it really holds up. I can only imagine how amazing it must have seemed back in the day.

It annoys the :089: outta me when people act like the Deadly Six were nothing but complete mistakes that should've never existed at all, purely on the basis of how Sega handled them in Lost World.

Admittedly, yeah, the handling of these bold new antagonists in a new game was kind of a fumble. But it opened the door for further expansion on these new characters, their species and (lost) world, and what their futures could become. Unfortunately they didn't really get to do much before Sonic main-charactered his way through them, and outside of Sega trying to use Zavok again to not much success, plus the comics, none of them have really had much of a chance to shine again - and the vicious reaction they received from fans has probably scared Sega out of giving them a fair shot to expand.

I think the Deadly Six would've benefitted if Lost World was a slightly longer game so they had more time to show what they were capable of, have more character interactions, and just get more time to do their thing.

My suggestion? Since Sega's on a spree of remastering 2010s-era Sonic games, when they get to Lost World, add a Shadow Generations-style extra story featuring Amy Rose (it's only fair given the love the other major characters have gotten - Tails is the #2, Knuckles had a TV show and Shadow had SxS Gens) and have her go to the Lost Hex, explore some new settings we've yet to see, and show how the D6 recovers from Sonic's visit and what their overall deal is, and show them with the extra depth they truly need to catch on with the fanbase. And make Zeena and Zor kiss, please and thank you.

I christen this game idea "Sonic x Amy Lost World".

I read this new manga that Shonen published.

It’s about Beethoven being brought back to life 250 years into the future in a random supermarket and choosing some random teenager (who just so happens to speak fluent German and plays piano) to be his last disciple before his body dissipates

Also some of those deaths would be really really really really gruesome if the blood was red
ie: The characte4 Kokichi being crushed under the hydraulic press in V3
It would also just look less interesting overall, I don't even consider myself a Danganronpa fan anymore but seeing that for the first time was such a great stylistic choice for a mystery game that it has stuck with me this whole time.

Decided to polish up the Johto starters some more by giving them dual typings, new signature moves and new hidden abilities. Kalos was like a second time to shine for the Kanto starters, so I figured it was about time Johto got that chance too. This is some of what they'd get if Purore became reality.

The new Love-type moves I mentioned...

Passion Pulse: Love type version of Water Pulse that replaces confusion with infatuation. Special, 100 accuracy, 60 power.
Loyal Charge: Love type version of Wild Charge, a powerful move with slight recoil. Physical, 100 accuracy, 90 power.
Calming Blare: A status move that sends a blare of special, becalming energy at a foe, causing them to lose some of their will to fight and dropping their attacking stats by one stage each. 100 accuracy.

Hopefully I gave them some extra competitive viability with these.

I REALLY want Meganium to get a priority move.
D'oh! I totally forgot to mention something: Typhlosion's Mud Heater ability also counts as an ability that can speed up the progress of hatching eggs.

I tried Marvel Rivals. Granted I haven't tried every character but like... eh. It's fine, it's just not for me.

And I'm putting a lot of effort into not over-blowing the problems I have with it (both in concept and practice) into big proclamations about what's wrong with society, which is something I really want to do. Like, my god, with how much stress I am dealing with right now just existing as a trans woman in America the idea of just absolutely screaming about Marvel Rivals and why the fact that it's popular is somehow the worst possible thing that could ever happen would feel so good.

But no, doing that is just being a jackass and I'm trying to be better as a person.
